One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine. “If you want peace and wuiet this cabin is for you. At the end of the lake there is little noise except for the loons on the water. All the furnishings are adequate and comfortable. The best features are the screened in porch for enjoying your meals and the deck for sirring, reading and relaxing. If you are looking for a low key, relaxing vacation this quiet yet close to town location has it all.”

“This was my wife and I's second year at Travis's camp on Madigan point rd. The cabin was clean and bright the added bonus of the heat pump was very welcome on the hot sticky nights providing us with cool air conditioned comfort. We discovered two fabulous family friendly spots (birch point and Norway point) in and around dark cove that were relatively short kayak paddles from the camp. The loons were amazingly plentiful along with the cool breezes and refreshing waters of East Grand lake. The……

“You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience.”

“Cute, “work in progress” old farm house. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was extremely responsive and got back to us right away if we had any questions. The only reason I couldn’t give this a five star review is cleanliness. It seemed like maybe the bathroom had just gotten skipped over by the housekeeper? The bedrooms were fine but the bathroom had a dirty toilet and shower. Otherwise it was great.”
