We had the best time! The house is very clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with Kristina was quick and informative. We loved the hot tub in the evening after a day of hiking and could see so many stars on a clear night. We visited Yellowstone and the Tetons. West Yellowstone is a cute little town to walk through. We would get back usually around 4 pm and sit in the back. So very peaceful with the beautiful view of the mountains and trees turning fall colors. Yes it’s right by the highway but that did not bother us at all. Highly recommend this house!!

Wonderful stay

We used the cabin for a couple days to launch our Yellowstone journey. It was great, everything was kept in great shape and was very comfortable. I would recommend and stay again

Cozy quintessential Montana cabin feel

Loved the classic western feel of this awesome house, the hot tub, open design, and all the comforts of home. Clean, comfy beds, quiet, private. Gorgeous sunsets and vistas from all rooms. Would stay again!

Lovely Scenic Cabin to Rest & Enjoy Nature!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was very comfortable, nicely decorated and supplied, with beautiful mountain views and everything we needed for our stay! The host was very hospitable and kind. Great location, only a short drive into the town of West Yellowstone and surrounding attractions. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after long hikes! Great experience in a lovely cabin to rest and enjoy nature!

Let me just start by saying how wonderful and gorgeous the cabin is, the views are amazing, it felt like home, the owner made sure the home is stocked up of basic needs, clean, comfortable beds, the hot tub was the cherry on top. We will definitely come back again. Ten out of ten ratings.

Great spot just west of Yellowstone!

We really enjoyed our time in this house! It was my husband, myself, our 4 kids, and my parents and we all had plenty of room! The details and decorations in this home are perfect, the beds were very comfortable, and the washer/dryer was great in the midst of our 2 week trip! The kitchen was fantastic, we cooked a few meals there and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub and star gazing out back in the peace and quiet. Overall, a fantastic stay and no improvements that I can think of. :)

Stunning cabin, even bigger and better than it looks!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain View Lodge, using it as a base camp for our Yellowstone and other area adventures. The home looks a bit ordinary from the outside compared to others we drove past along the way, but everything changed when we stepped inside to a bright, open, airy and clean home. It was fantastic with beautiful floors, furnishings and views of the Idaho mountains and plains. We took advantage of the hot tub and grill, both of which were easy to operate and clean. An added bonus was being able to watch the Perseid meteor shower from the backyard. Simply stunning! We appreciated staying outside of the uber-touristy West Yellowstone for the same price point. We also greatly appreciated both the use of the hi-res camera and bear spray! We would not hesitate to stay at the Mountain Lodge Cabin again.

Great location - close to Yellowstone Park and the town of West Yellowstone. Very clean and well appointed. If I had to be picky, I would say the beds and couches were firmer than we prefer and the outside could use a little sprucing up. The inside is cute and cozy.

Great property

I highly recommend this property for those visiting Yellowstone Park. The drive to the West Entrance was easy, there are plenty of places to dine out nearby, and the house was great.

Perfect place for a fun getaway

This is a great cabin with everything you need to make your Island Park stay wonderful and memorable. Hosts really made this cabin welcoming and cater nicely to visiting guests.
