The home was great. The children loved the multi-levels. Star gazing at night was a treat. Even though there are other accommodations in the surrounding area, you felt like you were isolated in the middle of the woods. We even had a visit from a moose. We stayed in mid August, so the home was toasty at night, especially after using the oven for the meals. Those in the top floor noticed this the most, but generally speaking, opening the windows at sunset cooled things off nicely by bed time.
Although only some 30 miles from the West entrance of Yellowstone, by the time you added the additional time to get to the desired sites, the trip back and forth to Yellowstone was long and tiring, especially for the younger children. But we knew that before going.
Some previous posts commented about not having a working ice maker in the fridge, but it was working fine for us. Thank You!
Some areas of improvement:
A few lights were burnt out and a towel bar missing (master bedroom and bath).
It would be nice if you labeled the cupboards and draws in the kitchen to indicate where items were supposed to go. We've seen this in other VRBO's and it was very helpful. Without that, finding some things was sometimes difficult.
Some areas need a deep cleaning, but overall the cleanliness was fine, e.g. fan vents, washer lid (my wife cleaned that), tops of thermostats, etc.
The shower curtains need to be replaced, especially on the main floor.
We would stay there again.
Note: Your question on the age group is missing children two years old, of which we had 3. You asked for under two and 3 or older :)
