"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. The Inn Keeper, Arlo, was very helpful with advice on trails. The Owner, Don, was friendly and helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations. "The cabin was amazing and located close To a light house. Cabin had full amenities including usage of a washer and dryer. We sat out in morning in back area looking at forest. Location was perfect as you were within driving distance from everything but outside the major crowded areas. Hiking trails were great in the area and close to Acadia National Park. Hosts were amazing and gave us great tip on hike nearby that allowed a full 360 view at top as well as suggestions on other things to do in area. Walked to the famous light house nearby. Plenty of parking for our car on premises. Breakfast pastries, fruit, cereal and toast provided! We would definitely stay here again and for longer period as there are TONS of hikes and sightseeing in the area."
