"The property I think is as described and the location by the causeway is pretty fantastic, that is the big draw. Being able to walk/ride out to the causeway is excellent. Little things though marred the experience for me. Tiny coffee machine that is a little broken (top falls off, often into cup as you pour) - very cheap and can only make 2 cups. No coffee filters provided. Toaster is tiny, cheap and a bit hard to use. There is no established path so you are just trotting about 50 yards across...

"I book a fishing trip each year for my dad, a friend of mine, and me. This year we stayed at this lovely property in Pelots bay. Interior was as advertised, clean, and had beautiful rooms. As others have mentioned, there are quite a few steep stairs down to the dock/water, so if you’ve got small kids/anyone with limited mobility, just be aware of that going in. "Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful area. The communication with David was timely and helpful. He provides guests with a great list of things about his lake home and community establishments. We checked out five and each spot, the staff were so welcoming. Sunsets are spectacular. The fire pit was nice although Mother Nature did not totally cooperate. The fishing was very good and large mouth bass were plentiful. We fell in love with this area of Laje Champlain."

"Upon entering the cottage, there’s a blanket in the living room that says “let’s stay here forever” and we seriously considered it! This place is well appointed, open floor plan, tastefully decorated, and was absolutely spotless when we arrived! Mike and Andrea are very attentive hosts, and have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!"

Did not receive code to check in until after arrival time so that was challenging. Water had a strong sulfur smell. Should let guests know prior to bring drinking water Overall a lovely place"
