「It is a perfect place to be, close to the beach, beside the best restaurant ever. Breakfast was ok Cleaning was good, Maintenence is ok, it is an old building, looks old Super convenient for a family,」

「I obviously loved the location of this motel. However, there seemed to be quite a bit of deferred maintenance that needed to be taken care of. Specifically, our headboard was a faux leather material and particles of that was getting all over the pillows. Also, the wooden walkway leading to the beach was full of rusty nails sticking out. There were a handful of other things, but those were the most egregious.」

「Post House Inn is such a charming place with delicious food, helpful staff and a setting like a movie. A walk around the neighborhood is so peaceful with beautiful homes and friendly people. A very lovely stay.」

「This was my second time at the property. The first time I stayed the staff was extremely helpful and the bathroom was clean. Loved the tile design. Three weeks later, different room. The bathroom had that brown mildew in the shower and around the plastic of the door. Gross. Maybe a different cleaning person for that room. Either way, won’t be going back. On to try the rest of Charleston hotels. Hopefully they clean their bathrooms better.」

「Excellent location, and nice walk along the water into the French Quarter. We stayed in the main house on the third-floor suite for three nights. The first floor is like a museum, the second floor a couple of nice rooms, and the third floor has two large suites with park view and an up-dated nice shower. Note though: no elevator, not much parking, limited continental breakfast options, and we thought housekeeping did a very, very minimal job not worthy of a 5-star hotel. She did not vacuum, wipe...

「I must say I wasn’t impressed with our stay, the pictures give the impression we would be in the building behind with balconies and rooftop lounging. We were a bit surprised we were on the street with lots of noise the entire time, not to mention the renters upstairs making drunken noise all night. For the money spent I’m not happy and would not stay again.」
