Great family getaway!

Beautiful condo with a great view!

It was a beautiful condo, clean, beds were comfortable. The view was great! A couple of things we weren’t aware of was there are no grills to use and it isn’t allowed. Also the pool is not heated, so it was freezing, so no one really swam which was disappointing on vacation. Other than that the place was great!

Family Beach Vacation

We loved the property with its convenience to the beach and other area attractions. Lovely views for those who wanted to just relax on the balcony. Would stay there again.

Last summer hurrah

Very nice. Liked having two levels with the kids. Walkway to the beach was great. We love staying at the properties in Wild Dunes, they never disappoint.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo and pool were great as was how close we were to the pool and beach. Very private and not crowded at all. Little things surprised me, no hand soap in the bathrooms, no pen and paper…things we would have never thought to bring…luckily had a pen in the car. We would stay again for sure. Only thing that would stop us is in the past we stayed at a Sunday -Sunday condo in wild dunes and really missed that extra day….. but would highly recommend.

Lovely location

We were fortunate to have spent the past week here. Condo was lovely and equipped with everything that we needed. Towes,blankets,fully stocked kitchen. We had three balconies to choose from. Rental agency and beach gear supplier were both very attentive. That is a nice touch. Master bedroom mattress could use replacing. The pool complex is beautiful and we spent most of our time there. Too bad the pool was not heated.

1st Time at Isle of Palms

Stayed the first week of April. Perfect for two couples and a single. Easy beach access and no crowds. About 30 mins to downtown Charleston’s restaurants and bars, closer for Shem Creek area and Sullivans Island, plus a number of golf courses. En suite bedrooms were very handy and clean. Kitchen had a good amount of basics, incl Keurig and coffee pot makers. Top floor views to the beach, pool or over the golf course in the back were great, and the place was very quiet (we liked that). No access to a grill that we could find. Good parking, covered if you want it. Definitely a place we could go back to and we highly recommend it.

Amazing Location and Condo

This was a great condo for me, my wife, 1 year old daughter, and parents. There was plenty of space, it was very clean, and the location was great. The views alone are worth it. We did have an issue with the air conditioning but I am not going to fault the host for this because the customer support was timely and accommodating. They were available to listen to our concerns, friendly, and quick to get the HVAC company out. It was not their fault that the HVAC company couldn’t seem to figure out how to get the issue corrected. On top of the nice condo, the Wild Dunes neighborhood was a great place to stay. The pools seemed great tho it was a bit chilly during our stay to use them. We are considering coming right back next spring!

Wonderful retreat

Short vacation with my 73 year old mother and young children. The property is beautifully landscaped, and exactly as pictured. The bedrooms are very spacious, the unit was well layed out, and the view was great. Kitchen had great appliances, very easy for preparing meals. Great morning light overlooking the ocean, and west views for sunsets. I wish the baby and the adult pools were heated off season, but we still made it in the pool every day. We will definitely stay in the Shipwatch complex again!

Beach getaway

Very good location. Great Beach. The resort was wonderful and this condo has perfect location nearby all the necessary amenities. Enjoyed the stay very much and will likely stay again if visiting Isle of palms.

Fun times at Wild Dunes

We had a great time and the rental unit had everything that we needed. It was a short to the un-crowded beaches. I really like the gated access and felt very safe.

Fall Break 2019

Shipwatch 423C is a wonderful property which is very comfortable and convenient with gorgeous views. Everything was functional and well maintained and kitchen was well equipped according to my wife. The kids complained a little about the rattan mat on the floor in living area as it was harsh on bare feet. Only small downside was cable was very confusing/cluttered with no FOX NEWS available as it was blocked (but not CNN and other crap sources) . We ended up streaming from our devices but that led to next problem. WIFI was slow and sporadic. Overall, a great stay and very relaxing.

Very nice kitchen, the rest of the unit looked much better in the online pictures, not at all 'beachy' looking. Elevator was down for 2 days became a 5 story walk up.
