「Our family of 6 (age range 20’s to 80’s) enjoyed all of the rooms and porches. The air conditioners kept the home comfortable and the porches were cozy for those who like it warmer. We liked the convenience of being able to make our own breakfasts and dinners here. Having a grill was a bonus.」

「The location of the property is perfect. It’s just a walk to the back for the beach so that was amazing, but the property itself needs better upkeep. There was mildew in the bathroom and on the utensils and pots. There were crumbs layer of dust on some surfaces, and the smell hits you as soon as you open the door. Communication was nonexistent, even though we were able to figure out the problems ourselves, It would’ve been nice to get a reply back to the messages I sent.」

「Great space, close to a great beach, loved that it’s pet friendly with space for our dog to run around, a good park within walking distance, and host was very communicative. Loved our time here!」

With a rating of 4.9, most would expect the basic things to work. Had a nice stay, but will never book that location again. 」

「Great location and charm」

「Great spot for a family trip to Williamsburg. Super close to Water Country and Busch Gardens. Beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend.」

「This house is quirky and wonderful. We loved the old part of the house, complete with a small boat in the living room ceiling! Wonderful things to look at all over the house. The new part of the house has large windows and doors for viewing the York River as the tide ebbs and flows. We loved watching the birds fish for their dinner. We had a snowy egret and a blue heron as well as many other birds. The crabs were fun to watch pop in and out of their tunnels. The kitchen has every appliance and...

「We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, in a great location, and had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly take pride in providing a great experience. We would definitely stay here again and will be reserving this home for future trips. Highly recommend!」
