“Terrible customer service. I tired to book through their website, and kept receiving an error message. Every attempt to call went unanswered. I finally went on Expedia and was able to book a room that way. When I called the hotel directly to confirm less than 10 minutes after booking through Expedia, everything went south. It took about five attempts for someone at the hotel to finally answer. After I confirmed the reservation I had booked through Expedia I asked if it was possible for me to……

“Should have read the reviews more closely. Room smelled even though it was non smoking. Shower head barely worked. Only pics online was the rooms which looked clean, but not welcoming once you arrive. Place is out of the way. Only positive thing I can say it was cheap.”

“I will never return to this hotel, no elevator and the stairwell smelled like urine, the bathroom smelled like urine, there was no soap, I asked for clean towels and was refused. The hotel has an odor, the refrigerator also had an odor. I will not return, ever.”

“This was a nightmare. There’s no hot tub although it says it is. You can see where they used to have one but it’s closed down. They also hold $100 on a card for incidentals although all hotels don’t. They serve breakfast 6am - 9am although other hotels serve breakfast until 10am with fresh fruits available throughout the day and evening. Highs of 90+ degrees and the staff member wouldn’t give a complimentary water bottle unless you were an ihg member although other hotels don’t mind. The room……

“Very dirty bad smell throught hotel.Mold in places bed was clean which was a plus but not worth 200 for 2 nights at all.Please hire people who know how to deep clean!!”

“Please avoid this property at all costs. There were mouse droppings in the room. The cleaning staff did not clean the room when requested. The hotel does not ahve enough linen for all the rooms. Also the hotel does not have enough Towels as well. I came back to my room one afternoon and found that the hand towels were missing. The cleaning staff had come in and taken away all the hand towels, probably they were needed in another room. The Reception staff was very nice and polite, the breakfast……

“Arrived and checked in. Was given a room that hadn't been cleaned at all. Trash everywhere, beds pulled apart, dirty towels on the floor. Went back to the front desk and was given a new room. After a few hours I was in bed and my room door was opened and the employee came in my room. Did not knock just enter my room. I had to go to the front desk and ask why that happened. He said that I wasnt suppose to be in that room and I should have already checked out!! Then he proceeded to let me leave……

“This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff……

“The AC in our King bed with pull out sofa bed room was terrible. Temperature could not be controlled. Wall thermostat was almost unusable. Expedia stated a $100 pet fee when I booked, but I was charged $150. In addition, there was no mention of a daily parking fee of $5.30 when I booked or at check-in. We left a day early and I understand we would not be refunded that last night even though we did not stay there, but we were also charged that parking fee for a parking space we did not use. The……
