Absoloutely wonderful hotel. The hotel is in a prime spot to walk to major attractions and also beautiful parks, shops and restaurants. This was our second stay in 10 days, the latter being due to missed flight connection. We did not hesitate in returning to the hotel and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Special thanks to Fatih, Yunus and Yusuf who helped us immensely to get comfortable before returning home. Highly recommended and I'm sure we'll return again.
Staff were accomadating. We asked if we can have our rooms changed as the one we were given had a room with a view of a school building. The staff moved us the next day to the other side.
Close to the blue Mosque, Aya Sofiya Cistern and Grand bazaar. Do need to take taxi to Bosphoros. Good cheap dining - staying close to other areas the costs are more for everything!

This was our second stay at this hotel the first was about 8 years ago. We chose it again because of the location, easy walking distance to all the sites in the old city and the restaurants. The hotel is a lovely place and they have a great small indoor pool, hammam and sauna, great for relaxing after a day of walking the old city visiting the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cistern and more. The staff are great and very helpful and always ready to assist, great people the Turkish. We highly recommend the Antea Palace Hotel & Spa.

One word for our 4 night stay...perfect. I can look more than the way staff look after their guest. Thanks and surely recommend this hotel. Close to tourist hub and transport.

The location was very good. Walking distance from all the main attractions. The staff were all very pleasant.The hotel needs a upgrade. The rooms are small. The facilities are all very old and not in good working condition. TV in the room was not working, regardless of how many time we asked for it to be fixed. It was very old stuck on and the screen was jumping continuously. the bathroom was very dated,and everything seemed to be patched up. This is not a 4 star hotel. Not good value for money considering it is advertised as 4 star I would say it is more 3 star.

The rooms not as in picture,the bathroom very small ,hardly can fit I shower ,while taking shower could not turn around,really lousy,the aircon does not cool off ,the done maintenance when we asked ,tv sucks always goes off cable TV ,ancient building not updated

The hotel is nicely located . Not far from the grand bazaar or the Blue Mosque. However it was not well indicated and access by car is a bit difficult. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was ok as a bit noisy and very warm.

A centrally located hotel with friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to help and advise us. Clean, comfortable with a great breakfast and clean, quiet spa area. Lovely and would recommend.

Good location just a short walk from the blue mosque and hagia sophia. The location was however not easy to find. Reception people could be better and focus on their job rather than trying to sell you a package. Their focus of to sell rather than getting us checked into the room. Try Sura Design as an alternate option

We were very pleased with the welcome we were given at the hotel and the way in which our travel needs were organised. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast options were plentiful. It was also great to discover that the hotel was situated so close to a wide range of local restaurants and places of historical interest.

Faded Turkish grandeur!
Pros:
location was excellent unless you have a mobility problem. For us it was great. So close to the Hippodrome and the fantastic mosques, museums etc. It is at the bottom of a pretty steep hill so if mobility is an issue, this hotel is not for you.
Staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
Shower had constant hot water, hair dryer was great. Clean towels and toiletries.
Beds were comfortable and pristine white sheets.
My single room had a double bed and enough storage but was very small!
Drinks were inexpensive.
Breakfast was plentiful and typical Turkish fare.
Free WiFi that was very effective.
Cons:
Some of the furniture was very badly stained. Unpleasant. When it was pointed out, the chair was moved to another table.
The carpet on the stairs was a bit wobbly on some of the steps.
Showers were clean enough but could do with having the sealant being replaced as it was pretty unpleasant.
Some staff training for the housekeeping staff would not go amiss. There was no consistency in terms of towels being replaced or the minibar being refilled.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay but the hotel would benefit from some investment!

The staff were extremely helpful and polite, they went out of their way to ensure we had a great holiday! I asked for a birthday surprise for my friend and they did an amazing job with cake, balloons, fruit basket and wrote her name down on the bed!!

Hotel has lovely staff who were extremely helpful. Rooms were a bit dated but clean and in good condition. Breakfast pretty good, lots of variety. Good wifi. Would stay here again. However the lift is small and the centre of Istanbul is a 15-20 minute walk uphill with iffy pavements so I'm not sure it would be a good choice for someone with mobility issues. Fine for anyone else though

The staff were very helpful. The room was clean but very old. It was extremely noisy at night. Further from the tram stops than I expected. Linen and towelling can be improved. The breakfast buffet was lacking in hot foods variety.

A bit dark interiour, but nice and helpful staff. Breakfast not very European

So so Hotel - strange decor. The area is nice. Not far from Little Aya Sofya. Breakfast is good.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Location. Friendly staff particularly the General Manager of the Hotel.
Construction behind the Hotel, noise starts around 7:30 am.
Pool is very small. Breakfast is hopeless
