We were on the third floor despite having “double glazed BG” on the windows the room war very noisy. Overhead shower did not work and the toilet flush was broken. We arrived past midnight and realised there was no room service to order. Hotel receptionist order us taxi Sunday morning. We requested yellow taxi. 20mn later his mate is still not showing up whilst at least 15 taxis passed by. In the end we just hailed taxi from the street. Shocking how everyone in the town is out to rip you off.

We loved the proximity to the tram, shopping, and local landmarks from this hotel. The interior was so sleek and modern, and you could tell this place was new. The staff were so friendly at all times! The breakfast buffet was delicious and always clean and stocked up. Would highly recommend this hotel to any friends and family we know that are traveling to Istanbul soon!

The staff at Fer hotel were excellent especially the cleaning staff who were always a delight to speak too. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest to improve on is breakfast. The range daily seemed similar every day and had limited options I would suggest they expanded it. Overall it’s a great hotel in a prime location. I would stay here again.

The Fer Hotel was very nice. We had a lovely two night stay here. The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit aggressive in water pressure but we'd rather have that than no pressure so it's okay. We had a fun view of the little internal water pool/atrium. Everything we wanted to see was either in walking distance or easily accessible via transportation so I'd say it is perfectly located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would say the only downside for us was we paid a LOT of money for only a few laundry items to be cleaned as it was the 7th day of our trip and we dropped it off at 9am and we didn't get it back until after 10pm when we were already in bed and waiting to finish packing to leave the next day, so that was a bit frustrating. Otherwise all the of the amenities were nice. I didn't realize this was an Expedia VIP hotel and I was not offered the upgrade or amenity that supposedly comes with that. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Istanbul in the future though.

One of the best Hotels
One of best hotels we stayed. Many 5-star hotels can not match. It was so clean, and very modern. Services was great. Nice breakfast. Close to all main attractions, and in walking distance to ferry terminal. If you arrive at night and not too late, do not wait for tomorrow, just walk to Sultan Ahmed square, five minutes from Fer hotel, you will see the beautiful mosques in the purple light. We enjoyed our three nights stay.

Hotel is good option value for money, in the walkable distance from all major sightseeings in old town. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff is friendly. The only issue I had is related to plumbing. The was an odor in bathroom all the time and for 1 night I was even moved to another better room. But it seems like not only this hotel problem but more of a city problem.

The location of the hotel is central and walking distance to all attractions, shopping, and restaurants in old town. The light rail is 5 minutes away and it can take you places further out. The walking from and to the hotel are always downhill and uphill and good exercises for us. However, it can be difficult for people with walking problems.

Excellent stay at the Fer hotel. Brilliant location and easy walk to all main attractions and perfect for what we wanted (Blue Msoque, Hagia Sophia, tombs, Grand Bazaar) and a short walk to the Galata bridge. The staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you: from the reception staff to the restaurant staff and cleaners. The lovely cleaner for our floor was friendly, efficient and very helpful - Tessekurler Gulbahar!

There was only one issue when something that was being held behind the front desk was mishandled. This was not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber, otherwise we had a great stay. Without this incident I would rate this a perfect stay but unfortunately this put a stain on our stay.
