We had an excellent stay here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and gave us somr local information straight away. The buffet breakfast is in an area with large windows and a great view. We sometimes went up there to get work done during the day. The hotel was generally lovely. The gym could do with some updating though. The hotel is well located and you can walk to most places for food options. It is also a short walk to the port, ferry stop, and tram stop.

If you lose your room key they charge you 140 euros which is completely odds you have to return your room keys to check out

I’ve been travelling to İstanbul for a couple of years and stayed at a lot of hotels. This one was the best experience I ever had! The Hotel smells amazing, it is very clean and quiet and they have a lot of additional services, as well as a huge breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly, helpful and even walked with me to the taxi 300metres outside of the hotel! The service was excellent. Also the location of the hotel was great. İt’s located next to the public transport and one feels safe at night since the entrance is very closer to the public part. I recommend the hotel for every tourist and even people who know İstanbul.

We had an excellent stay at the Ferman Port hotel. The staff were wonderful! So polite and friendly. Kerem was lovely, always greeting us and helped us with our baggage. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety and great views of the Bosphours. Rooms were clean and kept in good condition. Would definitely be staying here again. Only issue we had was the water was leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. Other than that, an excellent stay!

All of the public areas and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was great, with a beautiful view. 2 negatives for us: it was hard to cool down a hit room with the a/c off; and, the mattresses could use an upgrade. The old sprung type are noisy and not very comfortable.

Overall,the hotel gives off a really good vibe , but our deluxe family suite looked very tired in terms of decor - scuffs and scrapes all around the walls from furniture or suitcases- making it feel scruffy. The shower door didn't fit properly causing water to leak out onto the floor and pool in a corner , the air conditioning is not air conditioning - it is a hotel wide ventilation system that you can only turn on or off. The control panels are for air con units but do nothing except on or off. In our case (December 20 -23) the hotel was heating the place so it got very hot and stuffy at night with no cooler ventilation (no windows). Even turning the whole thing offf didn't do much. Staff were very helpful generally and breakfast on the top floor is good , though not amazing. Location is excellent as a base though a bit random in terms of arrival as the taxi can't actually get down the street so you are set down on the main road and have to find the entrance in the back alleys. Once found it's fine - just a bit worrying on first arrival. Very close to tram and ferry so really easy to get around. Overall a good stay but wouldn't really class it as a 4 star special category , more a 3 star special !

The Ferman Port Hotel was exceptional in every way. Surrounded by walkable locations from restaurants, shops, money exchange, waterfront or historical locations. Breakfast included was fresh and delicious. Staff extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. Willing to help out in every way. A bit in the old part of town but never felt unsafe. It's a gem in the middle of it all. Rooftops Best view of harbor in the city.

Very comfortable hotel in Karakoy
We all had a very nice time in Ferman Port Hotel of Istanbul. The room was spacious. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and served in a roof top room with a very nice view on Bosphore and the old city. The fitness room could be a bit more equipped and the spa could be accessible for free. But overall, we definitely recommend this hotel with a very good quality/price ratio

Stayed in Sultanahmet neighborhood before, Karakoy is much better and this hotel is great, fantastic service, great breakfast, nice big rooms (space is hard to find in istanbul!) comfortable, clean and very very helpful staff!

Hotel bathroom was the only real issue. Difficult to access because obstructed by the door. The shower head was blocked and the under sink cabinet doors were hanging off. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and clean. The location is superb and there’s lovely restaurant 30 seconds away where we decided to have breakfast. The hotel breakfast wasn’t great, but was ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had an average stay.

Great external location, weird internal location
The room was entirely internal facing, with a corridor outside the windows so anyone could see in! We had to keep the curtains closed the entire time (and it was a bit noisy in evening as people came back to the hotel) but it was clean, comfy and a great location

The front desk attendant was exceptional, the breakfast was okay and the location was fairly close to the port which was nice. However, the cleaning crew stole money from my room. I left money inside an extra cell phone case that remained in the room the entire time I stayed at the hotel and I discovered money missing my last night there. Reported it to management after my departure because I did not want to involve the police while I was still inside the country. I understood the management could not do anything to replace the stolen money, just wanted to alert them that their maid(s) were thieves.

You state that the money behind your phone case was stolen and that you reported this to us. You sent a message via whatsapp 15 days after your stay and said that my money was lost. Did you realize your money was stolen 15 days later? After 15 days you realize that your money is missing and you are very sure that it was stolen at the hotel and you cannot specify an amount. Don't you think this is a bit absurd? Do you think a person would realize after 15 days if his money was stolen? Your money is in your wallet or phone case? Something that is always at hand. If your money was stolen, would you contact the hotel after 10-15 days. Did you leave your phone case and phone in the room while you were out?You are trying to defame us and try to get an innocent employee fired from his job. All cleaning staff are regularly checked and tested every month. Our staff who made your room has been working with us for approximately 2 years and is a reliable staff. Please think one more time before accusing people - slandering - slandering, maybe you spent or dropped that money elsewhere.Have a lovely dayYour Sincerely

Loved this boutique hotel in a great location. Waterfront restaurants within 5min walk. Tram stop also just 5min walk. Easy to get tram and funicular to Taksim Sq and over to Sultanahmet for Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Egyptian Spice Bazaar an easy 15min walk. Staff - so friendly and helpful. Very attentive. Breakfast included on rooftop. A good variety of local/middle eastern dishes as well as scrambled eggs, toast and pastries/cakes. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Service was superb, from the moment we book they reach out to look at our options for transport entertainment dinning, they arranged the airport transport for us, got the tour guide, book the different amenities. The first night the bell boy walked us to the restaurant to make sure we didn’t get lost Hotel location is perfect, tram is 1 minute away
