The 6 floor open balcony door was broken opened all way causing danger to life reported to reception nothing was done. If i had slipped railing it below my knees it would have been a fatal outcome. Anyone with kids must avoid Incase of death injury. Also the promised to caulk ne a taxi to bus station and they never did and then refused ion the day of my travels

great hotel in a bad area. car repair garages to look at. wrecked cars close to hotel.pretty run down place.you have to walk in road because paths are either blocked with cars or none existent. just a base to sleep.nothing of interest in vicinity. 10 to 15 minute walk to Taksim Square.

The most disgraceful hotel I’ve ever been. The only advice is AVOID! Also I wasn’t expecting Wotif to allow this kind of misleading advertising. What was advertised wasn’t true. 😡

The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever requests we had. Gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was really nice. The property could have been in a better state as I got myself locked in the bathroom as the lever on the inside to open is not there. Luckily there is a phone in the bathroom so the reception came to my rescue. That problem was not fixed during our stay and we switched the door handle from the outside to the inside every time we went in and out.

Cancel your booking if you’ve made one!!!

Photos on the website are very deceptive. Upon arrival not even greeted or welcomed but instead glared at by a miserable looking man. The hotel is run down poorly maintained and cleanliness of the rooms are not at its highest standards. Breakfast was literally the same every morning. We asked our room to be changed as the fan was making a loud racket every time it came on kept waking us up. But receptionist ( who was very rude btw) refused saying there is nothing wrong with it. The floor board has cracks and so did the furniture. The lighting in the room is diabolical! You cannot see what you’re doing as there’s no main light in the room. I was disgusted at the shower and how filthy it was.

I don't recommend this hotel.

My staying in Dora Hotel was not so good for many reasons on behalf of "4 stars hotel". If the hotel was 2 or 3 stars it would be OK. 1- Cleanliness is 5/10, within 3 nights we have stayed, they have changed towels only one time and they didn't change blankets، they have just arrange and fold. 2- They ignored my request for drinking water, and said you can drink from restaurant. That's why I was purchasing drinking water myself. (they put only 2 pottles of 300 ml. water everyday, and last day when they have found a big bottle of water which I have purchased, they didn't put any drinking water!) 3- Air condition was out of service، and their argument was: they put the air condition on only in the summer although the temperature was 22 C. Other employee lied to me and said they are working on repairing the A/C system. 4- It is normal to ask reception to order for taxi, whae I have asked them, simply said you can get it from out side. 5- Some of the staff fit to work in a vegetable shop, not in 4-stars hotel.. 6- Hotel is located in industrial area (car repairs carage). 7- Usually all hotels which I have booked for many years they didn't withdrown money from credit card which I mention during the booking before checking in, but Dora Hotel has withdrown amount before I have arrived hotel and checked in?! Although it is very clearly mentioned in Hotels.com that the credit card which mentioned in the booking only for confirming the booking.

Frukosten var exakt likadan varje dag

Hotellet motsvarade enligt vår upplevelse snarare en trestjärnig standard än fyra. Bemötandet i receptionen var inte särskilt välkomnande, vilket drog ner helhetsintrycket. Städpersonalen däremot var mycket professionell och gjorde ett utmärkt jobb under hela vår vistelse. Vi bodde här i 11 nätter och tyvärr var frukostbuffén exakt samma varje dag. Efter dag 7 valde vi att äta frukost på andra ställen. På ett fyrastjärnigt hotell förväntar man sig viss variation i frukosten, åtminstone varannan dag, vilket tyvärr saknades här. Sammanfattningsvis var vistelsen okej, men hotellet lever inte riktigt upp till den fyrastjärniga klassificeringen.
