The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is right next to the markets and very close to the tram and underground train. There are a lot of restaurants and shops close by and the Galata Bridge. The room was a bit old and run down and the lighting is very dark but it was comfortable and quiet.

Honestly I was a bit skeptical about staying after reading the reviews, but I’m glad I did stay. It gave our visit to Istanbul a unique vibe, the ottoman architecture, a classic and beautiful hotel. The staff are very nice, the breakfast is worth the money because of the variation, but honestly not necessary. And the location is where you want to be. The perfect central location for tourists planning to visit different sites. The food is good price around the hotel compared to Sultanahmet area. Highly recommended P.S. do not change money at the exchange office in front of the hotel, just walk two more minutes and get the best exchange rate.

Ottoman Legacy Hotel is fantastic if you want location but it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. The hotel rooms are old and dated. Room cleaning service is very slow. The TV in rooms dont work. Breakfast offerings are good but again the dinning hall is dated. The only saving grace for this hotel is location. Very close to the main mosques, Grand and Spice Bazars and walking distance for boat rides. If I ever visit again I would use it again, not because its high quality, but I know what I am getting and the location is fantastic.

The hotel is conveniently located to must-see attractions. Most local attractions were about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is incredibly well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing......good food with the view from the top floor of the hotel. I totally enjoyed my stay there and look forward to being there again when I am in Istanbul.
