Mr. Cas is a beautiful and unique hotel for those looking to stay in a historic hotel but with modern comforts. It’s located on the bustling Istiklal Avenue, so shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. The hotel is gorgeous with ornate details and fixtures that transport you back in time leading you to believe that the fictional Mr. Cas did once reside there. There’s a mini-museum on the second floor that celebrates some of the building’s real history. My friends and I stayed in the rooms that connect with double doors. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed. I love the smell of the products in the bathrooms and throughout the hotel. The bottles were a little small, so it would be nice if they had full-sized pump dispensers to minimize plastic waste. Also, the grout lines seemed a little dirtier than desired, but it is an old building. The breakfast buffet was a beautiful spread with a little bit of something from everyone. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. One of the rooms had an AC issue when we checked in, but the staff sent us a courtesy bottle of wine and fixed the issue by the evening. They also sent up someone immediately to close the skylight blinds to minimize the room heating up during the day. One annoying thing is that the vanity lighting in the bathroom doesn’t have a switch. The only way to turn it off is to remove the card that activates the power for the room, but then you can’t charge any devices overnight.

The hotel was beautiful and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were all very welcoming and nice and helped us with any concerns. The location was very beautiful for tourists, as we got to explore a nice part of Istanbul. The room was always clean and tidy with a nice smell and was very comfortable to be in (mattress and pillows were very comfortable and clean) Every floor was beautifully designed and the walls were nicely decorated. Very good experience! 10/10

Excellent location, right in the middle of the busy street in Istanbul city. But with this Ofcourse comes some noise (night club near by) so it should be expected. But ignoring that, the hotel is excellent, staff are extremely helpful and attentive, the facilities look great and it’s difficult to get this central with other hotels.

Nattklubben intill är ett problem.
Hotellet i sig är väldigt fint, jag hade önskat rum högt upp vilket jag fick men det jag inte visste var är att det ligger en nattklubb precis intill som spelar hög musik fram till klockan 5-6 på morgonen. Jag fick inte en helt natts sömn under vistelsen. Förbannelsen över rum 310, helt enkelt. Vackra rum och skön säng. Doften inne på hotellet är magisk och produkterna på rummet likaså.

Very unprofessional and arrogant staff. I received a different room than what I booked and they insisted that it was correct even after I show them the pictures on Expedia. They said that Expedia doesn’t know but they do.

Location is prrfect its in middle of istiklal avenue so you are in the middle of downtown, unfortunately there is a night club infront with speakers outside very noisy but once you close windows its bearable, staff are nice but not easy to communicate with due to their poor english, AC was bad it doesn't blow cold air all the time, its crowded and loud noise from the streets if you are not into that it will bother you .

Amazing Staff
Location is wonderful, at the heart of istiklal st. Several restaurants and shops around. I got the Felix room, which was on istiklal st. Nice room and view but can be noisy at night. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The manager Cihan, was genuine and super helpful. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions and provide assistance. Hossein is a superstar and so helpful. I wasn’t feeling well and they sent me nice bouquet of flowers. Amina, is the best housekeeper and so sweet. I highly recommend this hotel. They made me feel I was home and safe!

Unfortunately we didn't have a positive experience at this hotel. -room was without sunlight and this was not mentioned anywhere before booking. Artificial lighting was also too dimmed. -you can hear everything that's going on outside of the door -premium tv channels are advertised but only a few Turkish channels were working -wifi is painfully slow -heater in the room makes periodical noises that keeps you from sleeping -lastly we complained about all of our issues throughout our 10 day stay, nothing was improved by the staff.

The property is in a beautiful building and great location middle von istighlal street. But the cleaning is very bad and the staff is very nice but zero action. I stayed 3 nights tv not working every day they said very politely ;) oh sorry today. Cleaning is extremely bad. And the room I selected online did not correspond to the picture. They said they will change but also zero actions. There are in the area many good and great hotels this one is overrated and with those issues. Will not go there again.

Perfect stay in a great location.
Great location in a very stylishly decorated building. Very boutique. Staff was amazing from the reception to the checkout. Upstairs bar and lounge was exceptional with a beautiful terrace where you have a view of the Galata tower, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia while being right on the bustling and fun Istiklal avenue. The manager went out of his way to welcome us and make sure all our needs were surpassed. And our waiter who served us breakfast made sure our delicious breakfast was perfect, finishing with Turkish coffee. Beds were very comfortable with nice linen and the art deco style mixed with some ottoman/Turkish style was very pleasing. Can't say enough good things about this place and the staff who run it seamlessly.

The staff at reception very helpful. We wanted a twin room and they did not have any available so we got upgraded to a prestige duplex room. Wonderful surprise but truly appreciated! A good stay indeed. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Location is even better

We didnt stay at the property as the pictures displaced on Expedia are not accurate and far from the reality of the rooms offered by the property. The staff were very helpful and helped us to cancel our reservation.

Nice hotel w/ rough edges. Don’t trust their taxis
The rooms and lounge are beautiful. Pillows are a bit too thick. The breakfast is good, not excellent. The staff are pleasant but not as helpful as at other hotels I stayed in Turkey. The coffee provided in the room is not included/free (it’s 2 euro per cup). Based on the location it is difficult for taxis to reach, which leads to its own problems. When I was leaving, the hotel called a trusted taxi. I was told the ride would be fixed price but a rate better than meter. I was interested in possibly making a stop on my way to the airport and was quoted 160 with the stop which was quite out of the way or 100-130 without. We did not make the extra stop and I asked the driver the price and was told 115. I confirmed by saying one-one-five and wrote it down. At the airport the driver demanded 150 and refused to give my luggage until I paid 150. My husband had taken a separate taxi earlier in the day with more traffic and paid 120. What a scam from a trusted associate.

Nice and central place to stay in the middle of liberty street and very close to Taqsim square Very friendly staff specially Kamal on the reception disk and Yelmiz the bell boy both of them were very helpful and always smiling In conclusion it was a good experience

This is second time with Mr Cas hotel. Another very good experience with excellent location.
