We first got a room in terrible conditions, curtains dirty, air leaked, wall VERY dirty, bathroom smelling awful. Staff helped us do room change. Second room was smaller, but very clean, and no bad smells. Staff is VERY friendly, kind and helpful. Tea and hot water y always available for free!

property offered shuttle one way, for 55 euros when a local travel agent provided one for 15 euros. Property staff is good but property location is in the hills fairly difficult to get to on foot.

Tucked away down a cobbled street, this hotel is perfectly located for the old city centre of Istanbul, making everywhere walkable. We were greeted by an incredibly helpful member of staff (sorry, we never got his name, but he had a lovely smile!) who advised us on local eateries and sorted us with a Turkish sim card. Only complaint is the air conditioning wasn't great so the rooms were especially hot at night.

Nice place for a simple stay

Zanadu hotel is located in a nice area, with a metro station not so far away and fancy streets all around. Great solution for solo travelers with not-so-great budget or not-so-big expectations who just need a place to rest, get a wi-fi and leave their luggage at. I stayed in a’no window’ room, the cheapest one, which some travelers might find pretty narrow, but I for me it was just fine. Friendly staff, fast check-in, cute little garden by the entrance… Dunno what else to say. Luxury-lovers might find this place too simple, but that’s exactly what I needed at the moment.

Not bad for the price paid.

Not bad. For the very cheap price paid, it offered a nice accommodation close to some nice sights and the Gran Bazaar. Shared areas (stairs, etc) not so well kept as many things lying around, bags with concrete etc. Quite hard beds.

Description of the property wax false. It is a separate bungalow next to the main building accessible from the street. Unsafe area, anyone could have entered from the street. My family were very upset and we had to leave immediately. The property would not return the payment even though we didn't stay at the property. Expedia service was terrible as they would return my payment. My advice never go to this property. Also I will not use Expedia again. 😤

False advertisement on rooms. Pictures did not accurately depict actual rooms. Booked a delux room with a seaview, got a small room with a view of rooftops. Shower leaked constantly so water was all over the floor, mildew in shower, stains on the walls. Told the front desk about the leak. He didn't want to be bothered with anything. Booked it for a week, stayed for 3 nights. Manager would not allow refund. This was a very disappointing experience!

L'albergo è ben piazzato nella zona di Sultanahmet, è molto vicino alla Moschea Blu, al Topkapi ed altre attrazioni e vicino passa la linea del tram T1. Il tutto non sarebbe stato male se la pulizia non fosse stato totalmente insufficiente, soprattutto nella stanza economy, in cui c'erano macchie di ogni sorta, ovunque ed in cui non entrava uno sputo di luce naturale ed in cui mancava acqua calda. Ad ogni modo, dopo le nostre rimostranze siamo riusciti a farci cambiare stanza, dove la situazione era decisamente migliore.
