I absolutely loved being at the Wee Hobbit House, Scottlandyard in Brooktondale, NY. I am a 70 year old woman and went to upstate NY to spend time with my daughter and grandson. Was a perfect location for me... 10 minutes from my daughter, Dandy Mart on the way for coffee and gas. I mention 70 year old because the upstairs bedroom was not something I could manage, but I slept on the couch downstairs and was very comfortable. Tanya was super as a co-host. Duane and Andrea very kind. And this time of year, March-April being with sheep as they lambed daily. Also adored the peacocks as they mustered around the Wee House to roost in the trees for the night. One of my favorite places to stay!!! Marie

Great getaway
City girl needing some relaxation. The Hobbit house was adorable and came with everything we needed. We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the animals they have on the property. Will try and make it back!

Peaceful and relaxing
The Hobbit house was a very peaceful and relaxing place. The house had everything we needed for your stay. The yard and surrounding area was beautiful.
