"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. "Super beautiful place, but the room is a bit small and no elevator. That is a historical city in Fukuoka area. It is a lovely place. I would recommend selecting the good timing for sakura or autumn leaves sightseeing. Parking free of charge but need to check with the hotel owner. The receiption was closed when I reached there. Luckily the local people help friendly and contacted the operator to come."
