“We had an unexpected extension to our visit to Kigali and this was the perfect place to stay. We chose an executive room and found we could use the business lounge with that level of room. There the staff were very friendly and the food just right for a place to hang out and re-plan the next part of our journey.”

“The room was fine, but the Pictures didn’t match what was actually given to us. the sliding door to the porch did not lock & the bathroom window didn’t shut all the way which made us worry about bugs. The AC worked great which is always nice. they had breakfast and a restaurant, but you had to eat it in your room.”

“Murugo had everything we needed. It is a great location, in an authentic Kigali neighbourhood. It has a beautiful garden to sit out in and a nice view. It was clean and comfortable. The employees were incredible: friendly, kind, helpful and attentive. David, the owner, seems to know everyone in Kigali, so there were often interesting people having drinks and dinner in the evenings. During the day there is a delicious lunch buffet that locals also come to. Murugo means "home" in Kinyawanda, and……

“I booked 2 apartments for one night before flying on from Rwanda. When we turned up they had no ecord of our booking or of our payment. When i showed the receipt they allowed us to stay. There is no restaurant or bar onsite, but we did get food from their partner restaurant 3 blocks away and it was delicious homemade pasta. We had it in our apartments. The apartments are very spacious and more suited to business clientele or peolle staying for several days or weeks. They have a kitchen, large……

“Foreign owned property. Rooms extremely small. Bedsheets clean but with holes. Smoking in rooms was allowed which I did not like at all. Stuff was friendly. Location safe. On site Asian convenient store. Restaurant only started breakfast at 7 so I could not eat before the airport. Onsite shuttle to airport included in services”

“The property is very spacious. My kids and I loved how we all had our own bedroom and bathroom! The balcony was nice to sit on in the evening. We also loved how we could cook meals in the kitchen. One complaint is that the tv is useless. It’s entirely in Chinese and you can’t alter the language, location, or access any local live tv or useful apps. The only thing that worked was YouTube. They need to fix this! The washer was also in Chinese and difficult to navigate the settings. ”
