"The check-in process was smooth and all amenities were as described. Even with the low water level in the lake this year, there was still plenty of depth for our boat to dock. The views of Smith Mountain across the water are incredible!"

"The view was spectacular and this part of the lake was very quiet and peaceful. We really got a chance to unwind and simply breathe fresh air. Definitely worth visiting. The host was very responsive and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend this cabin."

"I’ve stayed here several times.. the check in process was a little frustrating. I stood there waiting for someone close to 7min and when she finally appeared there was no apology for wait etc. The breakfast lady was so sweet and kind!! The rooms are spacious and clean. At this visit no shampoo/soap/lotion was provided."

"2nd best placed we stayed on our trip from CA to VA. Breakfast was great, staff was great up on the hill so no traffic noise, and the pool area was very nice touch to our stay. Only complaint was that the water was turned off without letting me know, when I got back to the hotel I didn’t know until I tried to turn on water even though you have to go up the stairs while passing the desk. Other than that would have been 5 stars"

"The staff is top notch, polite, helpful and efficient. For our family visits the breakfast is perfect. Good variety. Parking for the most part is good. At night there are some trucks and work vehicles but I've always found parking. The rooms are clean and comfortable.the pillows are great"

"This property is FABULOUS! Location - Cleanliness - Amenities - Ease of Use - Boat Dock, all top notch. Most importantly, owner responded promptly whenever we had a question. And don’t even get me started on the kitchen. Had to feed 16 adults three meals daily and the kitchen is very well stocked and every drawer and door is labeled with what’s inside. The owner also labeled every light and fan switch so no having to guess what it’s for. Now let’s get down to the most important feature - THE VIEW! Oh my heavens, it is spectacular! Best we’ve ever experienced. Family vote was unanimous, we’re coming back next year !!"

"We had a great stay in Cabin #2. The cabin is clean and comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. Everything was as described and ran smoothly. The deck is large and has great views. The owners were responsive. Smith Mountain Lake is wonderful. The location, a group of 8-10 like cabins, is quiet and secluded but is 20 minutes or more to stores and restaurants. We would happily stay in Cabin #2 again when we visit Smith Mountain Lake."
