The entire 2nd floor smelld like there was somethng dead like a cat or a dog or something, we asked to be moved to a different floor and their reponce was the smell is in the entire building but no it wasnt it was just on foor 2 i alwasy stay here and never had this type of issue.

The room was decent but we were not able to charge meal to our room. I also used the courtesy phone to call my husband in the room die to not feeling g well in casino and the operator said they were not ALLOWED TO ring through to rooms! Also Barton’s has got rid of all craps tables or games. We had to go across to cactus Pete’s!

We could tell that the lady who greeted us likes her job. She smiled and was very personable. We were pleasantly surprised to see no patches, patching, etc. in the walls or bathroom. This is a fairly new motel/casino and it shows. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom was spotless. We were sad that the motel doesn't offer a smoke-free area in the casino, but perhaps it's too small to make a difference. We chose not to play. We asked for a room away from the road; it was great. So quiet. Oh! And, they have luggage carts. We got all we needed from the car in just one trip. AND, they have elevators!! Our one-night stay was great! The room rate was very reasonable, probably because it's off-season.

In the middle of the night we awoke to find our room smelled like the cigarette smoke air from the casino was being directly piped into our room. I am not sure if there was a malfunction in the building's HVAC system that would cause this, but it was bad. All we could smell was cigarettes and the purfume scented stuff they blend into the air in the casino to help mask the smoke. As we checked out in the early morning, I explained the problem and requested a refund. As of the time of this writing, about 10 hours later - the manager has still not bothered with my request for a phone call. Aside from the toxic air, the carpet inside our room looked to be the original carpet from when the place was built, which had to have been circa 1985. The carpet was disgusting. One of the elevators rides extremely rough and feels like it could come crashing down any day. Will never stay in this place again. The room rating was clearly off on Expedia.
