"We stayed here for a few days and it was a great experience. The property was well kept inside and out. Our room was clean and stocked with the basics. The staff was always friendly. Breakfast was simple but perfect for an early morning. The waffle maker is awesome. We had the pool to ourselves and it backs onto beautiful tall trees that started to turn fall colours. The location is right next to the main road an a gas station for quick drinks and snacks if needed. "

TV control with two different remotes very confusing, contacted front desk, they sent a staff person to instruct usage.
Parking with a boat trailer a little tight, a few wider spaces needed."

"This HIE unit is clean, comfortable, and centrally located. It's a bit further from Western Carolina University than the Comfort Inn but will be our go to from here on out. Everything, including level of service, way exceeded the other options. Definitely recommend. "

"Such a gorgeous location, it was so hard to pull myself away from that gorgeous porch view! Very convenient to WCU and going in to Sylva or Dillsboro. All the comforts of home and very quiet, peaceful surroundings."
"We loved staying here. Great communication. Easy check-in and out. The location is perfect. Comfy beds. Other small towns could benefit by using your business model.
The shower had great water pressure, but the temperature was too hot. It took almost 5 minutes for the water to get hot. Once it was hot, it wouldn't go back to warm or cool. We were told that happens because it is an old building with old pipes. We love staying in old places that have been brought back to life. Old buildings and old pipes have never been an issue. "
