The rooms were pretty ho-hum in terms of amenities. Dated. Food at the restaurant was hir or miss. Since there are no restaurants that aren't an uber ride away this is kind of a big deal. The beach was absolutely stunning.

The room was large and overlooked the pool. The ocean was in the other side of the door. You could the waves crashing. You could also hear the incredible loud trucks from the highway all night. Sounded like a helicopter landing just outside. The ants in the room and especially in the bathroom were a nice touch. Security was good as was the feee parking right in front. Breakfast was included but we couldn’t take advantage because it only started at 8 am and we had plans before that both days. The restaurant on site was nice and beautifully situated at the oceanfront.

Exterior was gorgeous, but room needs some updating. Although staff was very friendly, we often had to go up to the bar to get any service despite there being only a few people in the restaurant.

Leider war unser zweiter Aufenthalt nicht so toll wie der drei Tage zuvor. Wir hatten diesmal "nur" ein Standard Zimmer gebucht, was sich als Fehler heraus stellte. Wir bekamen den Raum 307. Schon beim betreten des Raumes fällt uns auf dass es sehr heiß und stickig im Raum ist. Die Klimaanlage lief nicht, wie man das gewohnt bei Außentemperaturen von 33°Celsius. Es stellte sich heraus dass die Klimaanlage defekt ist. Also zurück gehen zurück zur Rezeption, diese lässt einen Techniker kommen der feststellt, die Klimaanlage ist defekt. Wieder zur Rezeption und neues Zimmer. Jetzt Raum 317. Also mit allen Koffern ins nächste Zimmer und auch hier direkt eine Zimmertemperatur wie außen, 33°C. Auch hier ist die Klimaanlage defekt, läuft nur als Ventilator. Da ich inzwischen keine Lust mehr habe hin und her zu rennen, bleiben wir nun in dem Zimmer. Leider hat der Raum weitere Defekte, die wir erst später bemerken. Die Balkontür ist defekt und die Nachttischlampe kann nicht angeschlossen werden weil gar keine Steckdose in der Nähe ist, ist also nur Deko. Am Pool angekommen wollen einen Happy hours Cocktail. Diesen hatten wir schon drei Tage zuvor. Allerdings kostet der identische Cocktail, ein Pina Colada der auf der Karte für 7$ steht, für mich plötzlich 10$. Als ich Nachfrage warum er gegenüber Sonntag 3$ mehr kostet, sagt mir der Kellner in einem unfreundlichen Ton, dass er die Preise geändert hat. Heute kostet der Cocktail nun mal 10$. Das hat mich schon sehr verärgert.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and overall had a mostly positive experience. The staff were pleasant, and both reception and security were very helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant service could be a bit hit or miss, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. One thing to note is that short-stay coach groups often seemed to get priority, so breakfast and the pool area can become incredibly busy and slightly uncomfortable if you’re not part of a large group or family. Weekdays are definitely better in terms of space and atmosphere. The location is excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable, although the lamps in the room didn’t work at all. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its helpful staff, good location, and generally pleasant stay, keeping in mind the busy periods with large groups.

Loved the balcony as we sat out often. Music started too early in the morning. Not enough staff so to order food off the menu and ordering drinks took forever. Dirty glasses left on the bar counter during meal service. A pain to run a tab as they don’t ask you when checking in. So you have to give them your credit card at reception and first time at bar. Sitting on loungers you never saw a server asking you if you want something. Inefficiencies in dining room as tables never cleaned off after first sitting.

Their ad said pet friendly, so I paid for an ocean view room for two nights. When I got there they switched rooms on me to a cheaper non-ocean view room because I had a dog. The girl said they changed their rules, but hadn’t change their ad yet. She would not refund the difference , over $50.00

La habitacion estaba bien. El hotel es maravilloso en la terraza frente al mar. Las picinas estan muy lindas. El hotel es muy bullicioso, lamentablemente. Todo a alto volumen, pero por lo menos si uno pide lo bajan un poco. La muchacha de la recepcion no deberia trabajar con gente, todo el resto del personal es excelente. El desayuno es muy bueno, y el servicio impecable. Expedia deberia avisar que para poder llevar un perro hay que llevar el carnet de vacunas. La localizacion de la playa la hace como si fuera privada lo cual es casi imposible en Costa Rica. Recomiendo el hotel, pero sepan que va a haber mucha bulla.

We have stayed at this property several times and every time has been amazing. The staff is attentive and very helpful and the inclusive breakfast is great. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a small boutique hotel rather than a large resort.
