5 Star…Absolutely Beautiful Accommodations

from the moment we got there and realized how absolutely beautiful the pool and condo was…we were hooked…the hospitality of the workers there was incredible….condo was gorgeous….the king size bed was absolutely perfect….loved the vaulted Ceilings and wooden beams…spent a lot of time on the gorgeous balcony over looking the pool and palms trees :) couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations….woke up every morning and started my day off with a cup of Costarican Coffee and a 2 min walk for a Swim in the Ocean…Legit didn’t want this vacation to end…Couldn’t recommend more

Enjoyable Stay with a Slippery Surprise

I had a delightful stay at this Vacasa rental, earning it a solid 4 stars. The location was fantastic, providing easy access to attractions, and the overall security gave me peace of mind throughout my visit. The onsite staff was exceptionally hospitable, ensuring my needs were met. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The bathroom floor proved to be very slippery, posing a slight safety concern. Additionally, there was a noticeable drain odor that suggested a need for cleaning. Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall experience was positive, and I appreciated the convenience and warmth of the rental.

The home is great but Vacasa is the issue

The apartment lived up to our expectations but we spent over an hour at the security gate trying to convince the security guards to let us in. Despite having someone from Vacasa US on the phone this was not easily resolved as they couldn’t reach their local contact, didn’t speak Spanish to talk to security guards and when the call dropped no one called us back. Bad experience. We missed the sunset and wasted a lot of time. Gate people said it wasn’t the first time they had issues.

Not quite 5 stars...

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and just as described. The location was quiet and easily accessible. We also appreciated the beach access. The security staff onsite were extremely friendly and helpful, they were the most exceptional part of our stay. We are not, however, able to give a 5 star rating for a few reasons. When we first arrived there was no running water in the unit. We contacted the person that the listing instructed us to contact and received a message that he was not available after hours. We were able to contact Vacasa via text and were told to expect a potential eventual visit from a repair person. My husband eventual asked the property security staff member and he was able to assist us successfully. A few days into our stay there was a power outage and the master bedroom air conditioner stopped cooling. We also attempted to use the washing machine and that also wasn't working. After contacting Vacasa once again we received a vague promise of a possible repair and never saw a repair person throughout the remainder of our stay. We were forced to rely on the use of the living room unit to cool the master (not an ideal solution to be sure). We were not able to launder our clothes before returning home, (also not an ideal situation). Overall the unit was adequate, we enjoyed using the balcony and the kitchen was well equipped. Despite our issues we would consider staying again.
