We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms comfortable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. What stood out most was the staff—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared visit.

My stay at Fox Jaffna was excellent. The staff were excellent and extremely accomodating. The highlight for me was the incredible food from the restaurant. Jaffna itself was nice and we met many lovely people. We were quite dismayed, however, at the number of emaciated, sick and extremely nervous dogs on the streets. This belied our experiences in other parts of SL where street dogs have been cared for.
Jaffna is a great place to visit lots to see and do. The local people are not yet used to visitors but well worth taking the train from Colombo to explore Jaffna.
Jaffna is not a tourist destination and it feels very different from the more touristy south. We spent a day exploring the remote island of Delft which was amazing and took a Tuk Tuk ride along the scenic northern coast roads.
