“The room was clean and modern. The staff was great and accommodating. I like a firm mattress but this one was hard as a rock. Maybe because it was a handicap room? The only amenities in the room was two small bars of soap, and no hair drier. There a coffee and juice machine in the lobby in the morning. ”

“Aaron, the Concierge, is great. We did a city tour with him and learned a lot about the city of Galveston. We also booked him to take us to the cruise port and had excellent drop off service. They even recommend a great ride service to and from the Houston airport with Shannon from the Saltwater Moms. Loved the breakfast service and French press coffee at the bed and breakfast as well. ”

“Upon arrival there was no one at the desk to check us in for at least 3-4 minutes. My husband had to whistle to get someone to come out of the office, which was located right behind the desk to help us and there was no apology for making us wait. The hotel and our room was for the most part clean but there was a foul odor coming from the restroom when we entered the room. It seem to be coming from the drain in the tub, but I'm not sure. “This was a good hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. They allow guests to park in their lot throughout the cruise with no additional cost, which is nice. The hotel is definitely a vintage traditional motel from back in the day, so there is wear and tear. Thankfully the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. We were also in a beach-facing room which was nice. Note: they do not automatically have hairdryers in the room (I definitely panicked a little at first). When I called the office……
