Charming characterful winegrowers' house from 1604, steeped in history & fully restored, nestled on an old wine estate, a stone's throw from the vines, in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque, perfectly preserved winegrowing village. Nestled at the foot of Mont Avril culminating at 421m (panoramic viewpoint & protected site in the "Natura 2000" zone for its rich ecosystems), in the heart of the vineyard of the famous AOC of Givry (flagship of Burgundy wines which is said to have been the favorite wine of King Henry IV!), Jambles has a unique location and a notable heritage (11th century Romanesque church, beautiful historic bourgeois residences, 19th century mill, wash houses, cadoles, etc.) and benefits from a magnificent landscaped setting all around (protected in ZNIEFF for its faunal & floristic riches), nestled in the hollow of a valley surrounded by vineyards, in the heart of a gentle preserved countryside mixing agriculture, nature & viticulture, between hedged meadows & beautiful wild forests. Spacious, comfortable gîte. Large living room. Exotic country character, a touch of "vintage", mixed with the soul of the original building (fireplace mantel & stone corbels, beams, framework upstairs, etc.). Magnificent surrounding landscaped setting, nestled in the rolling countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises (on an area classified as a ZNIEFF for its fauna and flora riches), a peaceful preserved setting that is both viticultural and agricultural, combining vast vineyards, bocage meadows and gentle wild forests, dotted with sites protected in the "Natura 2000 Zone" (for the quality of their rich ecosystems), neighboring the sublime Vaux valley ("the little Chalonnaise Switzerland") such as the famous "Val d'Or" and its renowned "Mercurey" vintage (leading the Côte Chalonnaise vintages, one of the oldest AOCs in France).
