"The Garden House is in a beautifully appointed property and the owner has maintained a wonderful house and garden. We enjoyed walking up and looking out from the deck halfway up the hill. We admired the stonework, landscaping and the stream flowing down into the small pond. The amenities in the Garden House were nice, bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a movie from Netflix in the living room. Very easy parking on the street. "This place is very clean and has a nice modern kitchen. Its walking distance to Balboa Park as well as to two grocery stores. Our host responded very quickly to any questions we had. It took us 10 mins to get to Coronado Island. I'd stay here again!"

"Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation."
