Owners are telling guests that you want them to stay with you over a hotel or a resort. That means owners are saying that they want to cater to guests needs and not just take their money.
So if you hire a management company like vacasa then you should expect that company to make sure guests have what they need and to make sure those guests want to return.
This is not the case with vacasa.
The cabin is in a great location. It is very quaint and nice, the property is also nice.
However, when we arrived there are no instructions for simple things like lights,hvac,hot tub, tvs,window shades appliances.
There is no list of amenities like grills,smoker and other things we eventually found these things in a few days.
It was not stocked very well with big enough pans and stuff to actually cook meals
No toilet paper
None or not enough dishwashing soap
Laundry soap
Cleaning sponges for dishes
All of these things we just delt with.
However this was a week stay from Sunday to Sunday. Well on Thursday night a major storm hit the mountain. It knocked down trees(a lot) and put out 50,000 power customers.
No one bothered to check on us or the property.
When we contacted vacasa they said they didn’t even know about the strom. (Yes thats the 1st big issue) then we asked if we are expected to pay and stay for the next 3 days we were told yes that its an act of god and if you didn’t pay for travel insurance then pound sand)
How do we pee,clean ect
