The Mountain Top Lodge is a beautiful property! Every view at every angle was incredible. The kitchen was perfect for preparing large family dinners each night. So many activities for the kids. We will definitely be returning! Everyone was so friendly and helpful!

The cabin was beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time. The driveway was very steep with loose gravel. 4wd recommended,but we made it up without.

Beautiful mountain retreat!

We had a great time with our family this weekend in Talking Rock! There were 14 of us (full house) and we used almost every amenity - hot tub, grill, air hockey, basketball hoop, yard games, every kitchen appliance - and everything worked great. The views are breathtakingly gorgeous and the property very private and quiet. Bat watching off the deck at night was really cool and there are a ton of beautiful moths. The property was exactly as advertised. We did pick up some things at Walmart that made the weekend much easier (hope this is helpful for future guests): toilet paper (only 1 roll per bathroom provided), paper towels (only 1 roll provided), dish soap (a couple little bottles provided), hand soap (none in bathrooms), olive oil/spices/seasonings, trash bags (3 provided), blankets (it gets chilly at night), foil/Saran wrap, towels for the hot tub.

Perfect setting in the Georga Mountains.

This was our first time to travel to the Georgia mountains and we were most impressed! We absolutly loved the house and the setting on top of the mountain. The home is beautiful and well maintained and in an ideal location. The home allows for gatherings on multiple levels and has great games for entertainment (ping pong, basketball, air hockey). We loved Ellijay and the restaurants as well as the shopping; however, we made the decision that the house was even more fun so we used the firepit, played games and cooked in the fantastic kitchen. We will return to Ellijay and we will stay in this home again!
