「John is a gracious host who welcomes guests into his home and gardens. I especially loved the friendly farm animals, fruit on the vines, and the pool which has an extra shallow end for young kids and is long enough for lap swim.The TV-free atmosphere was much appreciated.」

「John was a great host! He greeted me at the door when I arrived and made me immediately feel welcomed. He was around during my stay, was friendly and personable, and I enjoyed our conversations. At the same time, he was respectful and allowed me the quiet solitude I was seeking. My room was cozy and comfortable. The setting was beautiful-indoors and out! 「The reason this hotel stands out is because it was just totally refurbished. You can still smell the new paint in my room. Apparently the Spark brand buys older hotels and then modernizes them up and redoes them. 」
