Nice place!

The property overall was nice. The proximity to Driftwood Beach was perfect for picture taking. It isn't a great beach for lounging. There is a beach just a couple of miles away that is perfect for lounging. The condo itself was dated but that's not a big deal for us. We would stay here again. I can't wait for the Villas to get their permit to rebuild the pier so access to the beach is easier.

Family gathering

We were in a perfect location and had great weather for a family gathering at South dunes picnic area. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay . It was just the right size- we loved staying there.

Anniversary Trip

Trip to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary. Condo perfect size for two (and our dog!). Only drawback - we were on the bottom floor and did experience noise from our upstairs neighbors (at 1 o'clock in the morning, no less).

Nice place to stay!

This condo was perfect...excellent location, very private, and close to the beach walkover. I was surprised that I really liked this space as I've had some bad experiences before at other condos in this complex. I'm glad I took another chance on this one! The decor is a little cluttered with knick-knacks but it doesn't really impact the stay. I was very satisfied and would stay again.

Beach stay

Overall this was a nice property. We had trouble getting into the property as the code didn't work. Also the refridgerator had a shelf that was broken and caused us to have glass shattered on the floor. Location was good.

Great Location

We arrived on the island and were very happy to find that the Villas are so close to Driftwood Beach. What was disappointing was the musty smell as we opened the door to our rental. That, coupled with a "less than clean" bathroom made me give the rental three stars. PS- I'm happy I had brought linens with me.

Peace & quite

Didn’t use the condo much, the weather was great so we did a-lot of outdoor activities and really enjoyed the island. We just used the condo to sleep , the bed mattress is in bad shape , but the sofa couch mattress is even worse my 8 year old slept in it and even she complained, i layed in it for 5 minutes and my back was hurting

Beach Getaway

Condo was in a nice quiet location with beach access just across the parking lot. Condo was clean and there was plenty of towels for our stay. If you book this stay through VRBO the fees become a little hard to understand between VRBO fees and rental fees, it is not real clear.

A nice getaway

The villa was a decent fit for my husband and me. We enjoy the peace and calm atmosphere at Villas By The Sea. Having stayed in this complex years ago, I assumed the management of the property would be similar to last time. That wasn't the case. If you're looking for daily tidying up, regular replenishment of linens -that sort of thing - you'll want to rent a villa managed by VBTS. Despite a fairly disastrous check-in (no keys left for us to get in), we enjoyed our stay. This villa just needs a little attention -- a deep cleaning/dusting for one, perhaps a fresh coat of paint on the walls, replacement of some of the outlets and fixtures that seem a bit tired. I love the location of the villas; they're close to Driftwood Beach and the Bistro but far enough away from the busier areas of the island. I certainly hope to return to Jekyll in the future!

Nice location

The property location was great. We stayed for 5 days, so we were cooking some meals everyday. The pans were a little on the cheap side for daily use. The refrigerator rails on the door fell off, luckily I was an appliance repair person for years and put it together correctly. There was a lot of stuff, ( like Knick knacks)everywhere, not leaving much space to put things like books, hats chargers…We had a good time and the location put us right on the bike paths and beach. The bed seemed like it should have a better cover under the sheets. Both my wife and I felt itchy when in bed and after getting out of bed.
