The owner does not communicate with the client to give instructions until the same day of entering the reservation, I had to call Vrbo to confirm, the apartment did not have all the beds available for the amount of 6 people, and the kitchen lacks glasses, only 3 for 6 people that we rented, in addition there was the presence of cockroaches, it is a shame because it has a nice interior design and is located in a good place

Decent. Not great

If you need to stay in Union city it’s not a bad option. Centrally located with good access to transportation. The apartment is extremely dirty. Lots of stains on the walls and couch. Wasn’t great for a small child but we spent most of our time exploring the city. If you plan on cooking I’d think twice. Little to no utensils. No toaster or coffee maker. There was a couple random towels to use but that was about it.

Cancelled on us less than 24 hours before our plane arrived

Terribly stressful experience, being cancelled on last minute. Luckily we were able to keep our flights, and find somewhere else to stay last minute.

COCKROACH ISSUE…that host is aware of and still renting unit!!

Unfortunately this rental was not a pleasant stay. After arriving, going out to eat and starting to settle in, my husband was sitting in living room and having a drink when he saw a roach on the rim and another at the base of his glass. We then saw one on the garbage can and another two on the counter. There was a large new RAID ant and roch spray ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER. I sprayed along the floor/wall and near the utility closet, off the kitchen and even more scurried away. I was traveling with a 6MONTH OLD baby and a 6yo child. I reached out to the host, who mentioned he was aware and told me they had the unit exterminated (seems it didn’t work or they need more treatments). I told him we were not staying and I’d be in contact with Vrbo for a refund. After talking to Vrbo representative and the host again, since the host had to ‘allow’ refund to issue—he did not allow. Since the time had lapsed for him to be able to rent out the unit again during Thanksgiving weekend…but we didn’t even stay! I had to spend more money to find a hotel at midnight with my young children. I hoped the host would have had some understanding and take responsibility for the lack of cleanliness in his home and putting us in this circumstance. If he knows about roaches in the unit, the unit should not be available to rent to others until the issue is finalized/completed and rid of any cockroaches.
