"Room was clean. We had no trash can in the kitchen for 5 days. Towels were replaced every day, even when not required. Pool was fantastic. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was not great. No tea for 5 days. Yogurt machine was always broken. We usually stay at best western yacht harbor but stayed here for a change. I would stay again though. They have suites and it's a great and safe location."

"Shuttle to/from Carlsbad village was great for our group of six - didn’t have to worry about driving or uber. Also supplied beach chairs and umbrellas that you can take to the beach right across the street. Waiter Jake at the bar outside for happy hour was great and loved by all in our group of six"
