Special spot in the hills
We were lucky enough to spend the month of February at Colina Tropical, and every day we congratulated each other for choosing it as our lodging. It was perfect for every age guest we had, ages 4 months to 76 years. Our family of four was there all month, with extended family members joining us for 1-2 weeks along the way. The house was spacious for us all, even when we were seven people in total. Even the outdoor space allows for quiet moments on one's own. We rented a large car and it worked very well for our guests to park at the bottom of the hill and drive up with us to reduce traffic on the narrow driveway. Alexandra and Piotr are thoughtful and kind hosts, always ready to answer questions when needed. They provided us with a crib, changing table, baby toys, and a stroller. The house is an easy drive to Málaga, Granada, and the Alpujarras, and we enjoyed quick trips into Almuñécar almost every day. Even with an active six year old and a pool closed for the winter, it was easy to spend a day relaxing on top of the hill. The house has stacks of games, and trees dripping with oranges, kumquats, and lemons (not to mention the avocados from the farmer downhill). Stargazing, sunrises and especially sunsets are sources of daily beauty, and we are already trying to figure out when our next visit to Colina Tropical will be.

A little piece of heaven!
Alexandra is friendly and helpful and the villa is amazing in every way. Beautifully designed it sits high on a hill overlooking the valley below. The road up is steep but worth the climb and has incredible views of the two villages below . We came to escape the English winter and found somewhere we would return to over and over. Thank you Alexandra for your hospitality and hiring us your beautiful villa

Traumhaft auch für Menschen mit Rollstuhl
Es war tatsächlich Traumhaft. Wir fanden ein Haus vor, dass viel Platz für alle bot. Ein Ort zum erholen und entspannen. Die Gastgeber:innen waren sehr zuvorkommend. So ist u.a. auch das Haus auf Rollstuhlfahrer:innen angepasst worden. So konnte sich eine junge Mitreisende einen dort zur Verfügung gestellten elektrischen Rollstuhl nutzen. Ein fest installierte Lifter am Pool ermöglichte die entsprechende Nutzung. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 20 Minuten am Meer. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt; dafür ein großes Danke!

El alojamiento excelente, perfectamente equipado y cuidado hasta en los más pequeños detalles, los posibles problemas derivados de la ubicación, (Acceso) fueron solucionados en el acto por Piotr y Alexandra con una atención excelente. Recomendable para cualquiera que quiera pasar unos días de tranquilidad y buen clima.

Casa perfecta para relajarse y desconectar.
No hemos echado nada en falta, tiene prácticamente de todo y la casa no puede estar más limpia. Las vistas son espectaculares. Y el trato de Alexandre y Piot no pudo ser mejor, un 10 para ellos. Es el lugar perfecto para desconectar, pero hay que tener muy presente que no se puede llegar sin un coche alto (tipo 4x4 o SUB con bajos altos). Gracias Alexandre y Piot por subirnos y bajarnos. Gracias por todo, sois los mejores anfitriones.

15 jours au paradis
Alors je vais essayé de faire bref ....:) Nous avons séjourné 15 jours au mois d'août en famille dans cette superbe propriété avec vue sur le cadre idylique des collines avoisinantes et la quiétude des lieux.Aménagement de la villa très bien pensé,propreté irréprochable,décoration intérieur très jolies et de bon goût,équipements et fournitures tout simplement au top.Nous avons rarement vu une cuisine aussi bien achalandée afin de vous faciliter au maximum nos séances culinaires en vacances !!Mais au delà de toutes ces choses matérielles,je voulais surtout souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires.Alexandra pour notre part,qui est pleine de bons conseils pour les visites et autres et également d'attentions pour ces hôtes.Nous sommes arrivés un samedi vers 00h30 et Alexandra nous avait déjà proposé d'aller nous faire quelques petites courses pour le lendemain au besoin,étant donné que les magasins étaient fermés et elle nous attendait à Jete pour nous escorter jusqu'à la villa.Et au fil du séjour,nous avons reçu quelques produits issus de leurs plantation,que demander de mieux !!!Bref,même si le sentier qui accède à la villa peut être légèrement cahotique pour certaines personnes,ne vous arrétez pas à ce détails,la quiétude est à ce prix, ( Tenez en compte simplement lors de la location de votre voiture,nous l'avons fait avec un fiat Punto 1.2 qui a peiné mais y est arrivée ha ha ha ) et n'hésitez pas à vous rendre dans ce petit coin de paradis.Nous de notre côté nous y retournerons très certainement !!!!

Wonderful house with everything
We (4 generations, from 1 to 84 years old) stayed one week in this wonderful house in the mountains above Jete. The house is very well equipped and very well suited for travelling with small Children. Wonderful views and lots of places around the house to relax. The hosts are very helpful and service-minded and made our stay perfect. A perfect hideaway, we miss already the sun and warmth of the place, we felt like home.
