"Monica is a warm and friendly hostess. She welcomed us for our winter stay with a fire in the fireplace, candles lit, and some herbal tea on the table. She is an artist and collects art, so she has decorated the house in a rustic but elegant style. House was clean and well equipped. Setting is beautiful in a very rural area on the edge of the park with some huge cork oaks in the yard. It was a great base for a week of hiking in December. Summer would be even nicer to enjoy the pool but be away...

"Always a comfortable and adequate hotel, breakfast good choice and reasonable, ability to order freshly cooked omelettes/pancakes etc and proper FRESH orange juice instead of squash, absolutely gorgeous. Very short walk to old La Linea, 10 minutes to Gibraltar & airport (and I am very slow!) Bar/drink prices very reasonable if you just need to chill and stay in."
