"Room was clean and well kept. However, the practice of switching off the aircon ( from 230am to 9am) was not acceptable at the time at end of April where the room temperature for sun-facing room to increase to 27 degree at 640 am causing profound discomfort. Had been awoken at such timing due to the heat. The hotel did nothing despite the feedback."

"I booked the hotel because there is a roof top terrace to see the West Lake. But in fact, the roof top terrace is closed all the time. I was disappointed. But the staff was nice. The room is a bit outdated but clean. "

"I chose the hotel for the location and views. It is situated on the corner of the West Lake, at walking distance to both upscale and local markets and served by underground stations. The front rooms have large windows with lateral view of the lake promenade (ask for a room on the left wing for more scenic views). This was a last minute work & leisure trip with not much preparation. All the staff was very attentive and helpful but concierge Tim stood out, suggesting and booking tours and entertainment to fit my schedule. "

"We received a very good customer service from the front counter Carl Yuen. He remembers us after checking us in, he is really friendly, helpful and very attentive. On the amenities, is a little disappointed. We stay there for 2 night and we didn’t have any shower cap, razor, hand lotion and cotton swab. These are the necessities which we use daily."
