"We were heading to Charleston to look at colleges and this place was right in the middle of our places we needed to visit. We really lucked out. I knew nothing of the area and it was a beautiful, quiet, perfect place six miles from Folly Beach and 15 minutes from Charleston historic area. Our host lived next door and was very personable and accommodating. It was a win-win and we had a beautiful week at Folly Beach. It was heavenly. Thank you!!"

It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. "The house is wonderfully located right on the beach, most beautiful view, clean , modern , well equipped and dog friendly. THANK YOU! We truly enjoyed our time and HIGHLY recommend it. It is so comfortable , we didn't want to go out anywhere and had all our meals on the porch but it is close to the cute town and many good restaurants. This house made our stay at Folly Beach memorable, I can't wait to return."

"This VRBO was perfect for my family on a get away to a beautiful Kiawah. The beach is a safe 2 min walk along one of the trails. You cannot ask for closer. Apartment was well stocked with all you need, including beach chairs etc. Owner readily followed up on any queries. I want to book again!"

"This property is awesome! Our family of three loved the location, just steps from the beach. It was an easy walk to the beach. We also enjoyed walking around the property on all of the paths. Beds were comfortable, even the pull out that our 15 year old slept on. Towels and sheets were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for all of our needs."

"Really enjoyed this property. It was clean and seems to have had some updates since the photos were posted on the site. For our quick trip, this was a perfect place to rest in the evenings. Loved the balcony on the lake. Few Cons… dresser seemed to be broken and the glass stove top had a pretty major crack in it, so I was scared to use that. Overall we really did enjoy this property and we plan on saving this one for future trips to the area. Also the owner was very kind."

The interstate on-ramp right outside the window isn’t ideal but we knew about it in advance and brought earplugs/sound machines. The only thing we couldn’t have planned for was the construction of the house right next door. They started working at 7 am each day which was noisy.
