The front desk (Morgan) was cheerful, helpful and professional. The only issue was with the room itself, I didn’t like having to slam the door to get it to latch and the room smelled very musty. We became nose blind to it after a while, but after going to the breakfast buffet we returned to our room to pack up and the smell was still very strong.

The rooms were semi spacious, clean, and cool in the hot summer days. Thank you for providing the disable room for both our disability family members. plenty of plugs for all our electrical needs. Location was walking distance to every shopping need.

Property needs to be updated. Room was pretty clean for its age. Alarm clock is dirty. Caked on old dust. Lack of outlets to charge devices. The 1 outlet in room and one in bathroom was unusable. Worn out and plug would not stay in outlet. Beds were uncomfortable. Room was hot apon arrival at 10pm. Took a long time to cool so it was hot all night and hard to sleep. Carpet and room have old odor from previous smoking. Would not recommend.

Conveniently located on Comrie Ave, walkable to local shops. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Small rooms for 3-4 people to share. Front Desk was friendly. Great spot while in town visiting relatives. Friday night crowd -hallway smell like weed and could smell it in our room through the closed door. We stayed 2 different weeks-didn't have this happen the first week. We didn't have any, but there's complimentary breakfast items included with the room as well. If you want a pool, try the Holiday Inn. Microtel is more economical.

This particular Microtel was clean, comfortable, and convenient and the hotel staff was very friendly and accessible. We would stay here again when in the area. . Definitely recommend keeping the second lock on the door at all times because despite the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the knob, housekeeping let themselves in without knocking. Never had that happen before.

I reserved but didn't stay at this property. I had to cancel and attempted to do so 3 weeks prior to my reserved date. I was told by Expedia that the manager at the location wouldn't accept my request so I had to file a credit dispute. I do not recommend staying there. If you cannot cancel 3 weeks ahead of time then you risk losing nearly $150 because some hayseed didn't want the inconvenience of having to book another customer during their peak season. I don't know who to blame actually, but Expedia blamed the property. So there.

We reserved a room through Expedia and when we got there, we got a different room that wasn't great for our family. They didn't have any rooms with 2 queens and a sofa bed which is what was advertised on the site. Buyer beware!
