“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The carpet going up the stairs was filthy. The toilet base in our room was filthy. The floors in our room were dusty. The refrigerator had an open bottle of liquor in it and the freezer was completely over frozen- couldn’t get anything in it.”

“The location is good. Even though you cannot see the beach in your room but you can just walk to the beach by crossing a road. The room is fantactis. I ordered a big bed and I am very surprised that it is KING Size!!! The hotel room has everything you need. and the check out is super super fast, you just need to tell your room number and give the card back to the front tesk. I really enjoy staying here. They provide declisious breakfast in the morning untill 10:30AM. I will definitley come back……

“Oceanfront room was fine, some areas outdated. Common hall areas dirty, same crumbs and garbage sitting in areas all 3 days we were there. Pool and hottub was drained so closed for 24 hours, so unable to use. Pool area is very humid and smells like chemicals and mildew, makes it hard to breathe and want to use. Bathroom in pool area filthy. Garbage on lawn/grounds in common outdoor areas that also never got picked up. We had free breakfast with our room which was nice but it took over an hour……

“Staff was wonderful the hotel rooms were just very damp( carpets and walls 😳) and smelled of smoke .. no “smoking” in rooms but seems like everyone has a pack Marlboros and were smoking on their patios .. homeless man wandering the evaluator and floors Thank goodness it was a short stay .. slept with one eye open .. when I could .. so many ambulances and fire engines with fire sirens driving by day and night !!”

“Very nice stay (2 adults, 1 four yo). Room with full kitchen (and fridge!) was great, clean and spacious even with the usual beach gear. Complimentary breakfast was generous and decent quality. My son loved the indoor pool, although it is pretty small the views are fantastic for the adults. The outdoor pool and bar area was fun and had a good amount of space (didn't try a drink though). Staff was very helpful throughout the stay despite not having any significant Bonvoy status. We drove……

“Steps to the beach dog friendly the negatives are…that check in wasn’t until 4 pm and they were short staffed towels were short and every time I bought something from the front desk it was a different price depending on who Rang you up for example we bought ice cream like popsicle the same kind every day but they were a different price every time when I asked they always gave an excuse and I wasn’t in the mood to argue the only other negative is the parking there is space for 1 car per unit but……

“We stayed here for five nights and had a great time! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the property was beautiful and clean. The bay view was beautiful. My only qualms were that two days in a row our room did not get cleaned. a bit disappointed that the picture of the indoor whirlpool/hot tub is not the same as what is on site and it would’ve been nice to have a rotation and breakfast each morning as opposed to the same thing every day. “Wonderful Family Stay at Commander Hotel & Suites in Ocean City, MD I recently stayed at Commander Hotel & Suites in Ocean City, MD, with my family of 8, including 6 teenagers. We booked two beach-view rooms, and each room had two queen beds plus a queen sofa bed, which gave us plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was polite and helpful, and they quickly provided extra pillows and sheets for the sofa beds when we requested them. The……

“My husband and I came for a little gamet away we stay here and everything was amazing. I don't understand the bad reviews I seen because they are all false. We had the penthouse suite and our only complaint was the balconys have no privacy. Other then that everything was amazing and perfect”
