Nice bed but pillow needs to be upgraded. Overall great place to stay. 3 star because key card was not working and had to ask front desk to replace the keycard.

Very clean, I loved that the floor was not carpet! Comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice. Did not know how to use the key card at first. However, the gentleman whom had checked me in told me where to park and how to get there and that was very nice and helpful. Broken glass and empty lot next door would have been nice to see this filled with trees or nature. Very happy

Front desk person was indiferent. Room condition was terrible. Sheets were not laundered. One bed had "activity" stains. Bathoom had human hair stuck to the walls and door. Mold showing through caulking in bath/shower. Drop ceiling in hallway and bathroom gave off that"crackhouse" vibe. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Front desk's answer was "none of them work" which was a lie because I had two rooms and the fan in the other room worked fine. Avoid this property.

We stayed a numerous hotel/motels during our 2024 eclipse road trip. This was not the best nor the worst, but definitely needed some room updates for the 2020's. Rather noisy, sometimes people in the hallways need to be more considerate of their fellow travellers. No night light in the bathroom meant you needed to take a phone to guide you. We ate at the Old Chicago in the hotel that was very busy on the Tuesday night we were there. Many large screens as if a sports bar. Took us (a couple) a full hour for dinner even though we eat extremely fast. Your experience may be different, the food was reasonably good.

This a great property and my goto stay in Joplin. The location is great, near 44 but wo highway noise. Its very convenient to have a restaurant attached- a Chicago Pizza. The Free hotel breakfast is a full meal, from coffee to eggs, sausage and waffles. The place is nice, clean, and a very good value. I

We stay in this property whenever we go west for the winter. Awesome staff. I left my good sweater in Jan and called them. They saved it till I came back through. Lots of bus traffic today. The breakfast staff sis an awesome job keeping everyone plenty to eat and helping the lines move. That is proper management. Will continue to use this lodging

Love love the breakfast,best one we have been at. Easy parking, clean, employees nice. All was excellent except cold in lobby rooms are not soundproof and water pressure was low

They were really busy so it was expected for it to be a little noisy. Not the Hotel’s fault. Could not really hear the noise in the room though! However, our room looked like there was something smeared on the wall next to the toilet. Also, the shower drain was not draining properly so we had to wait 10 minutes between everyone showering do the tub didn’t get too full. We did tell the desk upon check out (we only showered right after playing in the pool and heading out) and they were already putting an order in to get the drain fixed as I was finishing checking out. The pool area had something growing on the floor, it appears to be algae like. But the pool was warm.
