Bait and switch scam
Most of the time, when you rent from vrbo, the address appears as soon as the booking is confirmed. This host never gives the address because they never intend for you to stay there. We booked this property and then suddenly there was a maintenance issue. One message said it was electrical and another said ot was a water problem. But not to worry! They have other properties that you can stay in that are complete dumps.
They come wirh garbage and debris in the entry way, sticky floors, bugs, moldy coffee grounds in one coffee pot and old tea bags in the other. It also had the added benefit of a broken ac unit, rusty outdoor furniture on an structurally unsound deck and a dock that is half sunk and caved in. They will send you fuzzy pictures and lie about it being a whole house. Then when you see it and decide it is not fit for man nor beast, they will refuse your refund. Run, dont walk...do not rent from these people! If i can find a way to post the pictures i took, they will be added soon.
