Excellent Location

The deck and the view of the lake was lovely! We spent the majority of our time outside, so this made it very enjoyable. The house is very dated, but also unique. :) This home accommodated our family well.

Great place, major fly problem

Beautiful home & location. Place had dead flies on the floor, on the clean towels left for us, windowsills, Many still alive, buzzed my sister in the night. She had to leave the door open so the cold weather would slow them down. Until they fix the fly issue, I recommend not renting this place.

Lovely location and great space

We generally loved this house and would stay here again. It’s older but definitely has mid century charm. It’s got large lovely rooms, cozy beds, hot showers, and a killer lakefront view. It was a great layout for multiple families or a big extended family. There did seem to be some cleaning issues. We found the living room rugs and furniture pretty covered in dog hair and visible detritus on the tables. It just seems like the cleaning crew didn’t properly clean between guests. Beds, bathrooms and linens were all clean.

Lake Holiday

Stay was very relaxing, however the power went out 1-2 times everyday and we stayed a week. I guess this is how things roll in this area as many locals said in town. It’s just something we would have wanted heads up on as flashlights provided need batteries and no candles. The longest it went out was 3 hours to 45 mins. Well stocked kitchen with kitchen tools and pots, towels, outdoor rug outside on deck needs to be teplaced as the edging was coming off. I trip on it the first day, we just tucked it under rug. Vacation 2022

The view is postcard perfect from this rental on Wallowa Lake. Weather was perfect and fishing from the dock and tube was really good. There were a couple of things though, spider on the wall in one of the upstairs bedrooms, only 2 beach towels & had to rewash several pans because of grease left in them. Also the pictures don’t reflect this cabin it’s a lot older and not so modern & clean as it looked in the pictures. I was given the wrong key code, thankfully because of the rental agency that used to rent this I called and was given the correct key code, finally got in. When we left we had trouble replacing the key into the key holder, took about 15 minutes to get it back in.

So relaxing!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house has everything you could possibly want plus more. The wonderful Lake view and surrounding area is just perfect for someone who really wants a peaceful atmosphere. We loved our stay.
