"Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We were in overnight, arriving late and leaving early morning. The place looked very nice and welcoming - value for money at budget pricing. We got the rest we needed, despite the heat. We’ll try to be back again for a proper vacation. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

Il y a de la place dans les espaces communs du rez-de-chaussée qui sont restés frais malgré la chaleur.La cuisine est bien équipée, et il y a assez de vaisselle et de places assises pour les grandes tablées, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. "Wonderful hosts that were unobtrusive but on hand when needed for help and advice. The pool is beautiful to relax in and by, located in a tranquil a garden setting. I would highly recommend the property as either a one or two night stopover when going further into France or as a base for a longer stay to explore the larger cognac region."

"This is a lovely house which is beautifully kept and the pool an added bonus in the heatwave. The area is full of things to see and do, and the locals are very friendly.Unfortunately and through no fault of the owners, problems with the VRBO App made communication with them very difficult prior to arrival. "A charming old house with excellent modern facilities. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It is set in a pleasant garden in a small hamlet and is very peaceful. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby including some very beautiful Romanesque churches and a remarkable Gallo-Roman site near Talmont. Many thanks to Marie-Claire for a most enjoyable holiday in spite of rather mixed weather."

"Cadre agréable, calme, vacances reposantes, piscine raffraichissante. Propriétaires accueillants et discrets. Seul bémol, la location ne comporte pas deux chambres comme écrit dans l'annonce. Les couchages enfants sont dans l'espace salle à manger/cuisine et le couchage pour les adultes se trouve dans une pièce attenante séparée d'une cloison seulement au 3/4. Même si nous avons maqué d'intimité, nous avons passé un séjour agréable."

"This hotel was just perfect for me and my friend. It was in a fantastic location! Our room had a wonderful view, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The people working there were incredibly helpful, kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. "

"This is a lovely old hotel, recently refurbished I would imagine, in the centre of Cognac. Staff were friendly with a good command of English and our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower! Breakfast was very good too! Parking is available but as we visited on a weekend we were able to park on the street outside for free. The hotel is very well located for bars and restaurants as well as the major brandy houses."

"Great place to stay with the family - walking distance from station and excellent games areas to keep the kids happy! Staff were really helpful, lovely breakfast and fun/practical decor. We only stayed a night on this trip but would come here again and would recommend it to other families. "
