The place was clean and accommodating. The host was easy to talk with and provided us with everything we could ask for our stay. Thank you!! I will recommend this place to anyone I know needing lodging when in Juneau.
We had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage. The views from the living room and bedroom were fantastic. We saw lots of wildlife from the cottage. Juan was really kind, we really enjoyed visiting with him and hearing about his adventures around SE Alaska.
Be sure to stop by the Rie Munoz art gallery to see the art depicting scenes from every day life in Alaska.
We look forward to staying here again.
Great spot! Strong recommendation to add blackout shades +, working hood for stove and vent for bathroom, otherwise awesome place and we hope to return
If looking for a rental in Juneau I would highly recommend this home! The view is beautiful! The home is comfortable!

Stunning View
We had a great time visiting our son and his family. Very cozy house with nice touches. Great views. We met the owners and they were very kind and welcomed us to the area. We will be returning in the future.
The property is clean and well maintained. It’s a private and charming cottage style home with fantastic views. Juan, the owner was readily available with any questions and very helpful and kind. I would stay here again and I highly recommend this property!
Fun in the Forest. Great Waterfront Juneau area stay
A very cozy home for the two of us in a quiet area NW of town. Beautiful water view. We enjoyed the art, read up in it and visited the local gallery. This was our first time here while staying on land versus cruise ship so we got to really see the full extent of everything Juneau has to offer. We were even lucky enough to see a bear with 3 cubs walk across the road only a few miles past the house on the Glacier Hwy on our end- of -the -road drive.
We really enjoyed our stay- the cottage is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The host Juan was so kind and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
My only suggestion would be to pack eye masks for sleep- there are no blackout curtains in the master bedroom and being from California we didn’t think about how much sunlight there would be later at night and super early in the morning.
Our week in Juneau was wonderful! We celebrated, hiked, went kayaking, shopping & explored the beaches for treasure. Every day ended at the cabin/cottage with a peaceful night. The view was amazing! (water, rainbows, northern lights & bears!) the cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Our hosts were excellent!

Comfortable house in a quiet, scenic location. We had everything we needed, except that the kitchen could have been better stocked with dishes. About 15 mins drive from airport and 20 from downtown.
This adorable house was perfect for our family of 4! Our teen son had his own room and our younger son slept in the cool loft. The views are what sold us on this house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- the house was clean and washer/dryer was a great bonus after a day of fishing. The house was well stocked with all the essentials. This house made our Alaskan adventure one to remember!
Despite the rain or snow and the very short daylight hours, we enjoyed our visit and our stay at the cottage. The cottage is very clean and well appointed if small. It was warm and cozy and welcoming. Wonderful features include the exclusive artwork of Rie Munoz on the walls and the view of the water. The setting is lovely and we'll certainly stay there again. There is an additional “booking charge” which is not included in the daily rental and cleaning fee.
We have an active VRBO ourselves and were somewhat taken aback by the $200 "rental management" extra fee charged by Evolve, a company handling the rental. This fee was not part of the advertised rental charge per day and was not included in the final balance. It must be another middleman in addition to VRBO itself, if so it is a new twist.
