This is a spacious home within walking distance of the Mendenhall Glacier. It took us about 20 minutes to drive downtown each time we went there, but the home is also close to Safeway and several other stores. It's a quiet neighborhood with very little through traffic.

This is an excellent choice for a family or group. The four bedrooms and two baths served the six of us well. The home was very clean and well equipped including a new gas grill on the back deck, and the host was very accommodating. Great weather added to our enjoyment. An excellent choice.

February Fun In Juneau

A group of us travel from Idaho to Juneau every February for the Sister City Dart Classic. This year we stayed at the Killewich home in the Mendenhall Valley and loved it. The home was clean, lots of room, and comfy beds. We loved the big table for card games at night. We will be looking to stay here for our future trips.

Good place to stay

Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Mini-split takes a few minutes to actually put out heat but works great after the delay. Nicely remodeled with all new appliances. Wave faucet is confusing til you get used to it. Don’t drink the fridge water but tap is great.
