“The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a cabin with its own amenities, but we did scope out the shared kitchen and it was spacious and clean.
It is pet friendly, there were other people in campers and RVs who had dogs with them.
The owners also had a friendly little fur baby who was one of the highlights of our interactions with them. I recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.”

“Excellent accommodation and wonderful hosts
We had the pleasure of spending three days and three nights at Arcadia Lodge in Russell and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The lodge is exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and clearly run with great attention to detail. We would especially like to thank the fantastic hosts, Greg and Peter. They were always approachable, provided us with many great tips for activities in and around Russell, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout……

“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated.
The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome.
We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”
