The house is clean, comfortable, and across the street from the sea. In the morning, the street is busy with boat launches and tourists going onto whale watching cruises but the house provides an idyllic nighttime experience stargazing while sitting on deck chairs looking out over the sea/ocean.

Clean and comfortable however the location is a few km from the town centre and the wake up at 4am with fishing boats going out is a little hard to take when on holidays

Great stay! Had a great time and the place was really cool. Great to be so close to the marina and watch the boats coming and going. Was great to be able to bring the dog as well- although not fully fenced. Great stay and thanks for sharing your bach with us!

The South Bay Getaway
Relaxing and comfortable holiday home in South Bay with beautiful views of the sea. Welcoming, helpful and friendly host. Loved watching boats loading off and on the ramp opposite and walks around the bay.

Right on the water's edge, overlooking the small harbour, watching the sunset...
Very quiet location, all amenities provided... We could have easily stayed for longer...

What a wonderful stay, great location, warm and cosy, friendly correspondence.We came to bring my elderly Mother and Aunty to visit the area where they had a bach as children. A typo in a message from Raylene had us arrive at 2 Moa Rd, we found out later that day that was the site of the old bach.

We loved our stay in South Bay! Gorgeous scenery and so much to do. The hosts were warm & welcoming & we appreciate being allowed to have our fur babies come for the holiday. Recommend this 100%
