A luxurious experience we will treasure forever!
My husband and I enjoyed six wonderful weeks in this house. From the moment we drove down that palm tree-lined road and stepped into the walled off courtyard, we knew we had picked the right place for our get-away. The house was tastefully and comfortably appointed. The kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms were all fully outfitted. We slept so well in the luxurious bedrooms, lulled by trade winds at night and waking to birds chirping in the morning. The outdoor lanai and backyard furniture made it hard to ever go inside. I think we bbq’d more in these six weeks than we have in the past several years. And that pool…! When we weren’t swimming in it, we were staring at it and the surrounding beautiful garden. My husband and my friend even did some yoga in the backyard.
As for the location, the house itself is ideally located to the beach. True to the description, it’s only a couple blocks from the public access point. We went out nearly every single day. The house also has an outdoor shower that is perfectly located for a post-beach rinse. It was nice and warm, too. Groceries, restaurants and shopping are only a 5-10 min drive away in Kailua Town. Some of our favorites were Over Easy (brunch), Uahi Bar and Grill, Kalapawai Market / Restaurant and El Gallo Rosa.
Jeff and the Ali’I team made our stay especially smooth. Any questions or issue we had were handled immediately. We cannot say enough glowing things about this place!
