Appreciated the good pre visit communication; great location, good bed and linens, good kitchen and sports/beach amenities. Some issues with toilet handles (not shutting off water well), fridge is getting old (funky doors), and found items missed by cleaners (e.g. used plastic water bottle in bedrm, dishes clean but still in dishwasher).

Very nice stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was a perfect size for my husband me. There was a problem with the water heater that was quickly responded to and resolved. Great place.

Wonderful Week

Ideally located, clean , well-equipped condo directly across the street from a great snorkeling spot. The unit is comfortable, with a lanai offering wonderful ocean views, especially at sunset. Easy access to major roads for trips to other parts of the island. We’re happy to have had the opportunity to stay here, and hope we can return!

Best location on kona side

This condo is directly across the street from the best snorkel beach on the west side. The most stunning view ever. Walk across the street to the beach!

Wonderful Kona Condo

Wonderful condo right across the street from Kahalu'u Park with views of the ocean, beach, snorkeling, and surfing. The unit had everything you need for a nice Hawaiian vacation. Beautiful pool and barbecue area. Very clean and well maintained unit and grounds.

Sweet spot

Had a great stay at this condo. Great location. Well appointed. Perfect for couple or couple with child. Bed was comfortable. Lanai with nice view. Although on main road condo seemed quiet with doors closed. AC works well. Across the street from public park with snorkeling and surfing opportunities. Would staystay there again.

I survived major life changes and death and celebrated my 40th birthday

Our experience was nothing but amazing. We spent a good chunk of time just enjoying our view and people-watching. I personally loved the hot tub. It's the best hot tub I have ever been in with the jets being super strong. I have major back issues and it was so nice to be able to use it when I needed it. My friend staying with me loved the Lania and drinking mai tais and enjoying our music and just relaxing. Everything was so easy to find upon entry to the VRBO. My friend was shocked he had his bathroom! I enjoyed the extra pillows and loved the towels done all fancy. Thank you once again I can not wait to return with the new love in my life !!!!

Good Ocean Front Location

Right across from a beginner’s snorkeling beach. Easy driving for groceries and restaurants. Walking along the ocean drive is pleasant but can get busy. Excellent lanai overlooking the pool and beach. Quiet at night and easy parking.

We loved that the property is right across a popular snorkeling beach (Appreciate that there were beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment in the house too), and loved the ocean view (gorgeous sunsets and morning views of surfers) from Lanai where we spent most of our villa time. Also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Really liked the spacious 2 bathrooms in the villa. Super minor issue- We had trouble finding a wine bottle opener (found one on last night..) as the kitchen drawers are cluttered and need to be cleaned up from inside. Overall an excellent stay though. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Hidden fees

Although this property is comfortable and right across from our favorite snorkeling beach, I doubt we would stay here again. This property is listed at $xxx per night which fit in our budget. That's before all the extras are added in. Cleaning fee , AC (!) fee, mystery service fee bringing to total to a third more than the posted rate. Just state the total in your listing. The price was more per night than any other place we stayed. We were amazed that even with a cleaning fee the condo instructions included directions to wash all our towels. What? For a hefty price per night you want us to wash towels? Also, we did not receive all the amenities promised as the pool was closed the entire time of our stay.

Great place to stay!

This property was awesome! The booking process was easy and quick. Upon arrival the unit was clean and well stocked with extras like beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. Kitchen was also well stocked with everything we needed. The view from the balcony was so pretty. We had coffee our there every morning with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean right across the street. The unit was in a quiet location and we never heard any outside noises. The bed was ever so comfortable and I don’t think I have ever slept so good at I did here. If you are reading this review and wondering if you should book or keep looking, look no more and just book it. You won’t be sorry!

Perfect location

We frequently stay at this condo complex and this unit was perfect for us. The balcony was a great way to enjoy the direct view of the Kahalu’u Beach Park and pool - beautiful sunsets too. Greatly appreciated the air conditioning and were so happy it didn’t have a timer that required constant winding like other units there.

Great condo in a wonderful location

This was one of four condos our family booked in this complex for a family vacation. The location was great -- we love to snorkel. The balcony overlooks the pool, so my parents could watch the grandkids play. If we return to Kona, I would absolutely stay here.

Great Condo, Even Better Location!

Our family had an amazing time on our latest vacation! The condo is perfect for families with 1 or 2 young children. The pool in safe and the hot tub is a great way to relax. Having Kahalu'u Bay right across the road is perfect. We could snorkel and play early in the morning before the rush. Withing walking distance to the Saturday farmers market. Would absolutely recommend this location as a great place to stay!

Better than advertised

Location, views and furnishings were all ideal. In addition to trees and birds in one direction, full view of the bay was the real treat. The building was wonderfully small and quiet - just what we needed. High quality bed linens, towels, light blocking curtains, kitchen and beach gear added to our experience. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for providing us with an enjoyable experience!

Great location

Have stayed in the complex before and the location is truly hard to beat. Having a smaller child Kahalu is probably the nicest snorkel beach around. Condo is great and has all thr small stuff that makes life easy. Only negative is the couch is super old and not comfortable.

Big island beach vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Villas condo. Brandon is very friendly and responsive to our questions over the phone. We felt warm and welcomed when we saw a fruit basket on the table, thank you! The condo is 1 min walk across Kahalu’u Beach Park. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but the condo also has some, and it's nice they have noodles, boards, sand toys for kids to use. And the pool is very nice, you can view sunset from the pool. We also met a few families at the pool, very nice people and it was fun to chat. It is quite close to a plaza (3 min drive) where there are good restaurants and KTA market, very convenient to order takeout and buy stuff. I was a bit unsure about the pullout bed before the trip, but turns out it was very comfortable for my 3 and 6 years old. We all had good sleep every night. The kitchen was well stuffed, and had all the things we needed. We definitely recommend this place, already did to a few friends, and hope we can go visit again in a few years :)
